Our bodies, souls, sound, movement, intelligence, and connections are our original technology. This session focuses on sound.

Join PH+T Community-Engaged Artist @bymankwendosiusa and composer, producer, and magician @majeadams to explore sound as a portal, as medicine, and as a way to tend to ourselves and our community.

This participatory experience invites you to nurture your inner world and spirit through meditation, collective vibe-making, and energetic skill-building. No performance is required—just a willingness to play and explore together.

Hey Minneapolis. We are building a movement for Theatre for Public Good and we are not alone.

A coalition of theatres from across the country just joined forces in Boston:
» Cleveland Public Theatre, Ohio @cptcle
» Company One Theatre, Massachusetts @companyoneboston
» Crowded Fire Theater, California @crowdedfire
» A Host of People, Michigan @ahostofpeople
» Junebug Productions, Louisiana @junebugnola
» Mixed Blood Theatre, Minnesota @mixedbloodtheatre
» Mosaic Theater Company, Washington DC @mosaictheaterdc
» Out of Hand, Georgia @outofhandatl
» Perseverance Theatre, Alaska @perseverancetheatre
» Pillsbury House + Theatre, Minnesota @phousetheatre
» Pink Fang, New York @pinkfangnyc

What is a Theatre for Public Good? A Theatre for Public Good uses its space, craft, and convening power to strengthen community health and inspire community action towards building a more equitable democracy.

We're committed to . . .
» practicing equity as structure
» building real power with the people we serve
» treating culture as a right, not a privilege
» leveraging artistic excellence toward a greater good, beyond the stage
» managing its finances as public infrastructure
» measuring community impact that matters

Theatre for Public Good started in March 2024, when 5 values-aligned, multi-racial theatres (Cleveland Public, Company One, Crowded Fire, Mosaic, and Perseverance) formed a cohort around a shared question: as social justice theatres, what can we do together that we cannot do alone?

After two years of convening and a framework presented at the TCG National Conference in June 2026, 11 theatres met in Boston this September to begin launching a national movement.

What does Theatre for Public Good mean to you? Let us know in the comments below! by @phousetheatre

One table, stretched down Chicago Ave. This is the Bowls & Spoons Harvest Feast.

On Saturday, October 3, tables will run down the 3700 block of Chicago Ave, between 37th and 38th, in the heart of George Floyd Square. Neighbors will sit shoulder to shoulder and share a meal from handmade bowls with hand-forged spoons.

It's a celebration of community through food and art, live music, storytelling, healing, and a feast for everyone who comes.

Coming in with a rescheduled date for the Imaginarium!!

The Healthcare Reparations Cooperative's Imaginarium is an interactive installation that relies on speculative futurities to immerse participants in what healthcare could be.

Through curated storytelling and interactive questioning, we will collectively challenge the rules that maintain the status quo— rules of power, economics, and knowledge.

This interactive installation is building a healthcare model unlike any other. This dreaming vessel will pave the way for a future co-created mobile care offering that is uniquely born from community dreaming.

Dream with us
October 17th from 1-5pm at Pillsbury House + Theater

The Care Imaginarium is built in partnership with High-Performance Builders Cooperative.

Huge shoutout to @twincitiesmaker for all their support!

This is truly a community project. Check out all the amazing folks supporting the build. Tag a baddie you see!
