Achilles tendon ruptures… one of the most dreaded injuries in sport. It stops you in your tracks physically and challenges you mentally in ways most people never see. Surgery, months away from the game, and struggling with movements that used to feel effortless — it’s a tough road for any athlete.

But every journey has its purpose and @f5vio1_ trusted the process. Rehab demands patience, dedication, trust, and a shared commitment between player and physiotherapist. It’s where knowledge of the sport meets resilience, where progress is measured in small wins, and where both sides grow together. We learned so much from each other along the way — work ethic, limits of physical strength, communication, and, most importantly, a friendship.

We began this rehab journey in September 2024. In April 2025, he stepped back onto the pitch for his first competitive match… and of course started bagging his trademark goals again (just wait for the end of the video 😉).

I couldn’t be prouder to play even a small part in his story.
