Youth World Championships 🇮🇹🫶

I am so grateful to be competing at a new level. This comp taught me that I have a long way to go. I hope to take all of these experiences to this next season, and I can’t wait to have another opportunity to keep learning. My goals at the beginning of this season were purely just letting myself climb with control and a strong mind. I am glad to say that I had so many chances to prove to myself that I am able to climb no matter the conditions. I hope to keep these goals as I continue to climb. It has been so awesome to learn things that I didn’t realize I needed to learn about. I am more than excited to keep going and climb with passion and love for this sport.

I am super thankful for the coaches and teammates that made this experience one that I couldn’t forget. Thank you for always supporting me with laughter, positivity, and encouragement. I don’t think I have ever felt so much belonging in a group. Thank you to my family for watching livestreams at 12am and cheering me on. No matter the challenges, barriers, and miles, I know I can count on you guys to be with me every step of the way. Thank you for everyone who made this season such a wonderful one. I truly don’t know what my season would be like without this community.

Nationals 2026 ☀️❤️

I hope to continue saying that I love what this sport provides for me. There have been many falls this season—some harder than others. From starting this season with adversity, to ending it with it, something has changed. The biggest challenge has always been overcoming myself—what my mind chooses to believe. I am so grateful to have @rockcityclimbing and @suzu__soozoo to guide me through this, and I am confident to say that this Nationals felt like a big success. After a Regionals and Divisionals that emptied my confidence, I got my “mic drop moment” at Nationals. It has been so cool to witness my mind switching its nerves into performance, and I hope Arco will provide me with the same feeling. Also, @think_ele I think you owe me a gelato.

Thank you to my parents for always figuring out a way to get me to where I need to be. I can’t comprehend what I would do without the support you give me. I appreciate you every single day. To add on, thank you to @micaelaclimbs. I missed you a lot this year, but I can tell you are going to go far with your life. Watching you flash the boulder that was hard for me to even start sparked learning—knowing that you will always be someone that will teach me something new each day. Youth is not your last stop. I can sense great opportunities ahead of you. Team Patajo, thank you for being patient with me when my hangry side takes over, and for letting me win card games. I love you all so much.
