One last sunset before a brand-new beginning. Tomorrow, Delaney begins a new chapter—one we’ve prayed over, researched, questioned, and ultimately chosen with so much hope. As the sun sets tonight, we’re saying goodbye to a season that has shaped our family in ways we never expected. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has made Delaney the strong, resilient, and incredible girl she is today. We truly could not be more proud of her. Tomorrow, we step into something new with hope. We know this journey won’t be instant, and there will be plenty to learn along the way. But we’re ready to take that first step. We’re also so thankful for everyone who has walked this road before us. Thank you for sharing your experiences, answering our questions, and reminding us we’re not alone. Your kindness, encouragement, and support have been such a gift to our family. Here’s to new beginnings, new possibilities, and the beautiful journey ahead. ❤️ by @picklez5

Hell’s Gate National Park, the inspiration for the Lion King 🦁 incredible rock formations, hot spring waterfalls, the gorge where the wildebeests ran through and killed Mufasa and Pride Rock inspo (a little worn down from tourism and weather). We visited Crescent Island where Out of Africa was filmed. An incredible sanctuary with no predators which allowed us the opportunity to have an up close experience with the animals. The home is where the interiors of Out Of Africa were filmed and where Karen honeymooned. It is now an Airbnb.
