Tickets are available now for the time travelin’ Halloween Show of the decade!

The Halloween Hootenanny, produced by the ‘Michigan Bluegrass + Roots Revue’, featuring Red Thyme, Futuretime Stringband, and The Rupple Brothers (wsg Keith Billik of Wilson Thicket), is coming to The Stray October 30, 2026!

Tickets are $25 adv, $30 dos, and all pre-sale ticket orders will receive a custom Halloween MBRR sticker!
Fasten your seat belts, and dress prepared for the unpredictable weather, as we travel through the fabric of space and time. Our MC for the evening, Lino Venema (of Futuretime Stringband) will mischievously guide our journey through time, as we embark on a voyage to recover the secrets of folk music lost to time. If you know Lino, however, you know that her obsession of Tony Rice licks & lore may fuel ulterior motives, ultimately throwing some unexpected wrenches into our mission.

The show begins at 7 PM and will conclude at 10 PM.

His banjo playing can be heard on his solo recordings; on collaborations with David Grisman, his wife and flautist extraordinaire Kristin Jackson, fiddler Dale Morris Jr.; and most recently, on the soundtrack to the new Matthew McConaughey and Kurt Russell feature film “The Rivals of Amziah King.” He also happened to be the longtime touring upright bassist for Country Music Legend Ray Price and is now the Assistant Curator of the American Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City.
