I am thrilled and honored to share that my artists book, “Listen,” has been selected as a finalist for the 2026 MCBA Prize. “Listen” is a personal investigation into the sounds of birds. Utilizing a mindful birding “sit spot” routine allowed the natural world to unfold before me to discover the wonder in the moment. Cool things from today. An amazing surprise package from my BFF Cindy Marsh in Maine. Two Rs, 7 snail (one very tiny), personalized stationary with my name spelled in sticks, a cool Maine cap, hankies, and a Horseshoe crab.
