The roadmap I wish I had for my first 100 miler.

My first 100 was a 1.02-mile loop around my neighborhood, 100 times, with no coach. Save this so you don’t have to guess like I did.

I put everything into a full first 100-mile race guide. Comment “ROADMAP” and I’ll send it to you.

P.S. If you’d rather hire a coach to figure it all out for you, DM me “RUN” and we can see if it is a good fit to work together

The 10 best purchases I’ve made for running.

I’ve wasted plenty of money on running gear. Seven 100-milers and three 200-milers later, these are the 10 I’d buy again.

Comment “GEAR” and I’ll send you links to all 10.

50 Mile Races To Add To Your Bucket List

Not every bucket list race has to be 100 miles. Four I want to run, and one I’ve already done. Which one’s on your list?

Comment “BUCKET” and I’ll send you how to get into each one.

How I carb load to run 100 miles

It took me until training for a 2:51 marathon to learn how to carb load properly. Now I do it before every race, marathon to 100 miles.

Shoutout to @jeremymille.r for putting me on

Comment “CARB LOAD” and I’ll send you my free calculator + full guide.

It’s crazy what can happen in just 3 years!

3 years ago today I was toeing the line at the Moab 240. Today I am sitting with my 5 day old son and I wouldn’t want it any other way

Good luck to all of the runners racing and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime !!

I know what I learned out there on the course has already helped me be a better dad.

There’s so much I did wrong in my first 100 haha so hopefully this post saves you some pain

Save this post to review before your next race. And tell me in the comments what race you are training for?!

John Pierce Showe has made his debut onto a planet called earth

Thank you Lord and thank you to everyone who prayed for us!

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.” - Psalm 139:13-14 by @pierceshowe
