This week we’re all about self-care. I love using the fortune-teller because it’s portable, easy to make, and you have 8 options to choose from.

Listen, the patients didn’t call me the art lady for nothing. I survived and I’m ready to tell my side of the story

Thank you to the @blacklatinamovement for inviting me out to see Black Latina The Play. The cast was amazing and I loved how the conversation played out around growing up and navigating multiple cultural identities. It was also my first time at @urbantheater and I really enjoyed the intimate setting. Thank you again 🤎

This year I slowed down a lot on doing workshops. I definitely wanted to do more, but I had too much going on in my personal life. I’ll be back next year though

It’s ok if you and your therapist don’t share the same life experiences. I know relatability makes vulnerability easier, but as a therapist I am not there to judge.

Look, it’s ok. Let’s regroup, go over the situation, and make some improvements. There will be other opportunities to use our coping skills

Listen, part of self care is taking sick days when you need them. It’s ok, I’ll see you next week.
