Biver was born in a farmhouse twenty minutes from Geneva. Ideas, prototypes, watches. Nothing is permanent here. These watches were made to go out into the world and find the right collectors.

And many of those collectors are in New York City.

I don’t know much about basketball. But watching reels of the Knicks this weekend, seeing people, famous and not, feeling that much emotion after the win, that transcends borders. I heard an anchor say it best: life is not perfect, but there are perfect moments.

New York is not a magical place. It is magic. And the magic comes from its people. The way they talk. The way they dress. The way they fight. The way they celebrate.

What I love most is the creativity that comes after moments like these. The Nike commercials. The newspaper covers. Old songs coming back as if they just came out.

We are proud to have so many collectors in New York. Proud that Material Good believed in us and spread the word thousands of kilometres away. And the fact that our watches resonate with New Yorkers means something real to me. A kid raised in the Swiss countryside, who grew up watching American shows, wearing American shoes, listening to American music.

This one hits differently.

A while back in Geneva we had a beautiful lunch with friends and had the chance to enjoy this unique piece by @biverwatches and talk to @pierrebiver about it.

@biverwatches Opens Its First Global Lounge in Hong Kong.

@biverloungehk, located in the esteemed Upper House hotel @upperhouse_hkg. In partnership with Shoyo Kawamura @shoyo_k, the lounge provides a dedicated private environment for showcasing timepieces, connecting with collectors, and fostering community in this vibrant city.

Co-founder Jean-Claude Biver @jcbiver emphasizes, “We want our customers to feel ‘at home,’ rather than in a store.” The lounge features natural wood decor, expansive views, and a special viewing desk for an up-close look at Biver watches.
