We’re finally done unpacking our latest shipment from France (and moving to a larger warehouse)

Here’s the part no one sees…renting the truck, picking the crates up at AirFrance Cargo, unpacking and cataloguing everything. We do it all ourselves.

This latest shipment contains some of the most beautiful culinary antiques we’ve ever had. Check out a selection of items at our last two shows of the year:

Did you know that Julia Child considered her Cul de Poule, or egg white bowl, to be her favorite kitchen accessory?

We see these delicate hand-hammered beauties from time to time in the flea markets throughout France, but sadly most are heavily damaged. Only the best examples…maybe one or two a year…make it into our shipments back to the States.
