62 years of legacy, celebrated with the people who carry it forward.

The Philippine Institute of Interior Designers marked its 62nd Anniversary with Legacy Forward: Shaping New Worlds, an evening honoring the people, achievements, and milestones that have shaped our profession across six decades.

Longtime colleagues, familiar faces, and the next generation of Filipino interior designers came together as one community, united by a shared passion for design and pride in how far the profession has come.

A day of listening, learning, and embracing new design perspectives.

Day 4 of MIDS 2026 brought the summit to a close with a series of thought-provoking talks and dialogues featuring Alex Josephson, Takae Ito, Carlos Arnaiz, Defit Wijaya, and Satoshi Ohashi, alongside moderators Edwin Uy, Tina Periquet, and Ed Calma.

Through their experiences, insights, and exchanges, participants gained fresh outlooks on the practice of design, the challenges facing the industry, and the possibilities worth exploring in the years ahead.
