Soon my pretty, soon...

I am deep in Fibre at Fern prep and website orders...so my reading time at the moment is 0.

BUT this little baby is waiting for me once Fibre at Fern wraps up at the end of October. I have zero chill when it comes to this series and I'm so bloody invested 😩 but I will be good and (try to) wait 🙂‍↕️😘

Has anyone else read it? No spoilers!!

Tea Time is the art of slowing down and savouring life 🩷

The same can be said for Knitting Time, Crocheting Time, Reading Time....

What's your favourite tea to brew this time of year? My favourite is still Ivory Cable Knit Sweater - I just can't get enough of this cozy black tea! The name is just so appropriate too.

I will have some @clearviewtea with me at my trunk show this Saturday at @kats_craft_corner.

I need to do a tea restock for some of my fall events. What flavour should I bring in? Clearview Tea Co. has Home for the Holidays and Cinnamon Apple Crisp blends that sound seasonally delightful.

As our 6th Fibre at Fern Retreat draws closer, I love reflecting on how this retreat has impacted me and the joy that it brings, both to myself and others...it leaves me a little speechless sometimes!

Whether it’s your first time attending Fibre at Fern Retreats, or your second, third, fourth, or more, we’re so happy to have you join us every Spring and Fall!

Our retreats are designed to be a welcoming, relaxed and inclusive weekend where there's something for everyone. Whether you’re an experienced knitter or crocheter, just picking up your needles for the first time, looking to try a new fibre craft, or simply looking for a weekend away to unwind with other fibre-loving people, Fibre at Fern is definitely for you.

Spend your weekend at Fern Resort in Orillia learning something new in one of our engaging classes, browsing the marketplace, discovering beautiful hand-dyed yarn and accessories, enjoying some dedicated crafting time, or simply sitting with a cup of coffee (or drink of some kind) in the Mary Lou Lounge, and chatting with new and old friends. There’s no pressure to do it all - you can fill your weekend with all the classes and all the evening activities, or slow things down and savour some quiet time by only taking one or two classes, and finding your own balance somewhere in between.

One of the things I'm most proud of with our retreats is the Fibre at Fern community that has been created. Our group of Fernies are so warm, welcoming and fun - I love seeing the connections made over the years, the promises to meet up again next year at Fern, and the reunions that happen at every retreat! These weekends are about coming together, sharing our love of fibre and creativity, making connections, laughing a lot, and taking a little time for ourselves.

I cannot wait to see you all soon. Bring your projects and WIPs, and your finished items for our Fashion Show & Share, and Dave and I can't wait to welcome you to Fibre at Fern in a month!

DCC Yarn & Middle of Lake Ontario

So many yarn orders are shipping out this week! If you're waiting on DCC yarn and bags, chances are your order is shipping today or tomorrow! Keep an eye on your inbox for a shipping notification.

A lot of Middle of Lake Ontario sock sets and DK is shipping out as well. I'm still waiting on a bunch of full size Stories from the Vinyl Cafe skeins to dry, so orders with those will ship once they're fully dried and ready.
