Sight, sound & community.
Those three words are the heart of @palate.cleanser_

The decor for Palate Cleanser Vol. 2 started with a very simple thought: I want roses hanging from the ceiling and One thing about me: I will have an unnecessarily specific idea. 😂

I love flowers, and I wanted them to be more than decoration this time. I wanted them to shape the feeling of the room. So began the mood boards, the references, the site visits, the measurements, the material discussions, the figuring-it-out and, eventually, the actual build.

There’s something special about watching an idea move from something you can only see in your head to something other people can physically experience.

Vol. 2 was a lesson in trusting the vision 🌹🥀

Big s/o to my team

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STAGE — EP. 01 | Friends of Mongoma

What does an artist liaison actually do?

For @mongoma.ke , my job is to keep the moving parts moving — coordinating the ticketing team, liaising with the venue, managing artist hospitality, and making sure everyone had what they needed for the show to run smoothly.

Because what you see on stage is only one part of the story.

There’s a whole other side of the stage where the work happens — and that’s the side I want to show you.

Welcome to The Other Side of the Stage. 🎥

It was never just about the music.

It was about bringing different sounds into the same room. Finding the people who would get it. Making space for the unexpected. And watching a room full of strangers slowly become a community.

Palate Cleanser Vol. 1 was the beginning.

Now we do it again.

I've come to realize my nails are basically a mood board. 💅🏽

Different lengths. Different shapes. Different colours. Different seasons of life.

This carousel is a little love letter to nail art as a form of self-expression, and an appreciation post for the talented hands that bring my ideas to life every single time.
