One of the crafts at the Sacramento Fashion Doll Club's mini convention was to dress a Barbie in a dress inspired by a cartoon character. There was a pile of nude dolls to choose from, a pile of fabric pieces, some printed cartoon characters, scissors, and a hot glue gun. My inspiration was Orange Blossom. I included photos of her before, my cat Pixie giving her a kiss, and other club member's dolls.

Today was the Sacramento Fashion Doll Club's mini convention! My mini put on her costume and went with me. She gathered up some ghosts to give away as party favors.

These dolls are excited about Halloween. They each picked out their own pumpkin last night.

I picked up this fashion pack over the summer. I was not too sure about it, but putting the outfits on these Barbie Extra dolls with the pink and purple hair made the outfits pretty cute. I love the Alec face mold on them. 🩷💜

I love this pink cat themed dress. I think that Barbie looks her best in pink. That might be because pink has always been my favorite color.🩷 I was very happy to find this Barbie earlier this year and add her to my collection. What is your favorite color for Barbie?

I love to decorate. Here's my Halloween area in my kitchen nook! Do you see any dolls that you recognize?

One of my favorite things to do at this time of the year is taking a walk in different neighborhoods and seeing the Halloween decorations. Raquelle and Jia had fun seeing these ghosts out on their walk today and made sure to get some photos. I included some video of my dog Ken today on his walk. He had a veterinarian appointment today. After we left, I took him to a new neighborhood with a park nearby. We saw a huge scarecrow and a cat.

This is what spooky season looks like in California when the temperature is 99 degrees outside. Malibu Barbie wore a pink striped bikini with her witch hat. She has to watch out for Shenzi, the wild monster who keeps attacking our tree. Shenzi has been seen climbing the tree, taking ornaments down, and biting them. She's fast, she's wild, and hard to catch. We are not sure if the tree will survive this kind of play. I love her so much though that she gets away with all of the trouble she causes. 💕🐾💕🎃

Barbie had a lot of fun in Chicago. She did get a few admiring looks as she made her way around town. She's used to the attention. A man was excited to see her meet a gorilla and even grabbed his camera to take her photo. by @pinkchicbarbie

Looking back, September was a great month for finding dolls and more at Goodwill and 2 made to move NRFB dolls at Once Upon a Child. I had a discount and got them for under $5 each. I love cleaning up preloved dolls and giving them their best life. Do you see anythingthat you would have bought?

I included a photo of my grandson in there. I am very lucky that he lives nearby us and that I get to see him so much. I was planning to post this yesterday, but ran out of time. I was lucky enough to get asked to babysit him. He is such a good baby. 💙 by @pinkchicbarbie

Barbie is posing with her favorite American Girl doll named Addy! Do you have a favorite?
I found this Barbie Tie Dye fashion doll at Goodwill back in March. I finally cleaned her up a couple of weeks ago with a bath and hair wash. Her hair was a mess! Right before I found her, I had commented to my husband that I wanted an African American one in my collection. It was exciting to walk into Goodwill and find her!

Barbie did a lot of walking at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago this year. She was looking for food and finally found herself a churro.
