Last month we pulled off the ultimate birthday surprise and took Wale back home to Nigeria! 🇳🇬🎉

Trying to squeeze this incredible trip into 3 minutes was almost as impossible as convincing Nigerian family members that you’re not hungry. 😂 But every second was worth it.

This wasn’t just a vacation, it was the trip of a lifetime for our entire family. ❤️

Watching my mother-in-love, who has lost her vision but never her joy or zest for life, light up when we finally walked through her door filled my heart in ways I can’t even describe. Seeing her and Wale smile made every mile, every plan, and every surprise worth it. Thank you to the best sister in law, brother in law, and cousins for helping to keep the secret.

Some moments are simply too big for words… but thankfully, we got them on video. ❤️✨

Three different journeys, three big dreams, and one incredibly proud mama. Watching you grow, learn, and chase your dreams is one of my greatest blessings.

Grateful for a wonderful spring break with the fam. We truly enjoyed our time on Star of the Seas @royalcaribbean!

The only thing that could’ve made it better is if Taylor was able to be there🫶🏽. But we FaceTimed and she got SOTS merch😂.

Throughly enjoyed our long weekend in Niagara Falls. I also highly recommend the Sheraton Fallsview. The hotel was nice, clean, customer service was A1, and it’s attached to so many things that we only had to step foot outside when we wanted to. Had such a great time at the Michigan/Ohio Area Workday Cluster. It was nonstop all weekend, but a wonderful experience. Seeing our teens flourish and grow is the reason we do this🫶🏽💗💙. Added bonus: I got to catch up and have a great conversation with one of my favorite Sorors @simplyelisanicole 💗💚

This past week I was filled with an immense amount of pride and gratitude. Taylor Olayinka Aibana @taylor.aibana , you’ve persevered through every obstacle you’ve encountered with class and dignity. Congratulations on completing your Bachelor of Science degree (BioChem Major & Leadership Studies Minor) and earning an overall GPA of 3.98.

While your academic resume is impressive, I’m most proud of the person you’ve grown into. You are God fearing, kind, humble, funny and an overall wonderful young lady.
