Thanks to a very generous donation from @capefearcc we have added in a new jewelry/metalworking studio here in the Whichard building! This is one of our many renovations that happened over the summer and is the first peak into all the great changes our department has made recently.

In addition to our wonderful instructors you’ll find in here, we also have a large variety of specialty tools, books, and infographic samples available for all your learning needs. Enameling kilns and torches are also still available in our newly revamped sculpture studio that you’ll get to check out soon enough!

There’s never been a better time to get curious, sign up, and learn a new fulfilling craft here at PCC’s Fine Arts Program. Whether you are a degree-seeking student, a curious community member, or seeking to improve your skills as an auditor - we hold space for you.

Join us and find out just how riveting metalsmithing can be ✨ Link in bio to check out our program or DM us with questions for guidance on getting signed up.

I'm taking the Painting class at PCC this summer, with the fabulous Bill Dermody.

The man is just an amazing teacher.

This is the evolution of my first painting in class so far. It might be an extremely talented group of students because they all are really beautiful ( Of course the 🥑 helps!)

We got all of the supplies from @jerrysartarama
& couldn't be happier with the quality of the acrylics.

I took a painting classmy freshman year in 1990... it went so poorly I became an English major for two semesters before the arts called me back. 😁 this time around, with a great teacher it's going much better!
