Sign your child up for Colorful Comic, a new class for our youth in grades 6 and up.

Students will learn the process of creating their own comic or sequential art narrative. Sequential art is the use of a deliberate sequence of images to convey information, a story, or a visual experience. Students will learn the history of comics and how to apply different drawing and inking techniques used in the comic book industry. Students will develop a three-page comic by the end of the session.

Wednesdays, starting November 4 at 6:00pm with instructor, Paula "PJ" Jordan-Mayo!

We had so much fun in September with our first Mini Maker workshop! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was a hit! We are excited to see the creativity and energy you and your children bring to October's workshop with Goodnight Moon!

We invite you to come with the little one you love and create something together! Our 45-minute workshops provide a unique experience for an adult to play with their toddler while exploring art materials based off a book that will be read aloud during the workshop. Perfect for youth Age: 1 - 4

Cost: $10 per child and adult duo for Emerge members, $20 per child and adult duo for non-members (must sign up 1 adult per 1 child)

Family Time in the Studio!
Sunday, October 18 at 1:30pm

In this mixed-media workshop, you'll explore a variety of art techniques to design a collection of unique leaves, combining color, texture, and pattern to create a unique seasonal decoration. Participants will explore techniques including, watercolor, pen and ink, and embroidery with colorful yarn using plastic needles. At the end of the workshop the leaves will be strung together for hanging.

Kids' Art Night Out for Friday night still has seats available!
Our instructor will help students navigate a Frankenstein’s monster head design we have provided on a small wooden block. Students will be attaching nuts, bolts, washers, and screws to build up a monstrous face on the wood block. The monster head will become a charm that is wearable on a backpack or bag.

Friday, October 16 - Drop off at 5:45pm and Pick Up at 9:00pm

🤩WHAT A NIGHT🤩

Huge thanks to everyone who put energy into the Paddock Pop-Up last Saturday!

If I ever missed this event the FOMO would be unmanageable😂 Immaculate vibes my friends!!!

Shoutout to @gvillemichellemichaels, @thelegendarypurinachow, @sirkaithequeen, Kristina Christian and Nicole Morgan for their amazing energetic performances.

Full costume changes, at least three numbers every time and they are MOVING. They fully embrace their craft and give everything to their audience. I was so tired the next day from keeping up with them, but I loved every minute!

Another thanks to @blackrosebottling for providing an impeccable atmosphere and comfy warm hospitality. If you live in Greenville and haven’t been yet, I HIGHLY recommend. They’re heavily involved with our local arts community and always have something great happening to support our talented creative friends.
