We’re officially less than one week out from this show and we are so fucking excited!

As well as the incredible bands that have jumped on this line up, we have our wonderful friends Dylan, Sam and Jade on the decks to round out this huge night of music. Thank you to them and the bands for getting involved and we hope to see you all for an amazing night!!!!!!!

Make sure you grab a ticket and tell your friends <3 by @pitylips____

Pity Lips is going from 8 titties to 6 and we’re making a day of it!!!! We will be fundraising money for Nadia’s top surgery with music from Pity Lips, Stormy Lou, Awnings, Ammonite, and a debut from Jamie Grimm and the Deadnames. There will zines, clothes, merch as well as other crafts for sale, and DJs and poetry amongst the beautiful chaos of the night.

Of all the bands we had play TRANSGENRE Volume III last weekend, @pitylips____ were easily the most diverse, oscillating from dreamy shoegaze to blistering hardcore on a whim 😌

We’re @pitylips____ , a punk/rock/emo/whatever band creating and living on stolen, colonised, unceded Kaurna land. We’re a group of friends making music just for the hell of it. <3

“There is a huge obligation as a queer punk band to stand up against injustice, against the colony and the rise of fascism and racism, and that will always include standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people. To be punk-rock is to be loud and unapologetic, is to say: “we will not stand for this, not in our names.” We live in a colonised country, under a government forced upon the Indigenous peoples of this land, a government complicit not only in its own past and present genocide, but also the genocide in Gaza—if we are not vehemently against it, then we are complicit too. As a band, as artists, we create to be heard, and if we can do anything to allow Palestinian voices to grow louder than that of the genocidal, blood-thirsty zionists, then we absolutely should. Show up to protests, join the BDS boycotts, donate if you can, be loud in your support, wear it, let the people know where you stand. The responsibility to stop this atrocity falls on all of us.” by @pitylips____
