also I might be biased but I think you should definitely check out @pocketrockitaus one year… idk maybe there’s some bias but I just think it has a nice ring to it. 😅

MWAH! ☺️

We’re officially less than one week out from this show and we are so fucking excited!

As well as the incredible bands that have jumped on this line up, we have our wonderful friends Dylan, Sam and Jade on the decks to round out this huge night of music. Thank you to them and the bands for getting involved and we hope to see you all for an amazing night!!!!!!!

Make sure you grab a ticket and tell your friends <3

TRANSGENRE VOL III: Pity Lips 🫦

Having seen Pity Lips’ development since inception has been one of the greatest joys. From friends wanting to learn instruments with intent, to deciding to create a band, to now putting on an interesting and cohesive performance of their own music.. it’s just so damn cool!!! They owned this stage at TRANSGENRE and I felt so proud to watch them do it 🥰

Of all the bands we had play TRANSGENRE Volume III last weekend, @pitylips____ were easily the most diverse, oscillating from dreamy shoegaze to blistering hardcore on a whim 😌

I don’t think we’ll ever get over how insane @therotthatgrowsinsidemychest’s cameo was during @pitylips____ set last Saturday (even though it is literally her band) 🔥

Here’s the next batch of Ellie’s film photos from TRANSGENRE Volume III. She is already hoarding film stock for TRANSGENRE Volume IV at the start of August, so if you’re in Melbourne and you wanna get immortalised on 35mm, grab your tickets ASAP (link in bio, etc) 👀
