I’m safe now. But last night, I ran. I hid. And hours later, in my own bed, I could still feel the fear.

I ran without knowing what his intentions were. Maybe he had stopped for something completely unrelated to me. Maybe he was walking somewhere else. I don’t know.

But alone on that dark road, I felt scared.

Before anything had even happened, I was already pulling the fabric of my trousers around my legs. My clothes weren’t the problem. I just wanted to feel safe walking down a road.

Afterwards, I went into town, met my friends and carried on with my evening. It was only when I came home and tried to sleep that it really hit me.

What stayed with me was the fear. The running. The hiding. Not knowing whether I was in danger, but feeling that I needed to get away.

I’m grateful I listened to myself.

I’m sharing this because so many women know how frightening that uncertainty can feel, and how the fear can stay with you even once you’re safe.

We deserve to feel safe. 🤍

A little life update from me 🌿🤎

Been crying, been laughing, been trying to find the right words… sometimes all in the same sentence 😂

So much moving through me while I find my feet and a little home here. Giving myself time to rest, feel it all and keep opening my heart.

Feeling especially grateful for the care and company along the way. There’s something so precious about someone going through their own storms and still finding ways to remind you that you’re not alone 🤎

Happy to be here, even with the messy bits ✨

Dear diary!!

(A dyslexia person’s diary is not just a diary ;)
it is a diery :))

Do you know what a dieta is in Shipibo culture?

It is so much more than a diet.

It is a period of creating space to listen, to become quieter, to observe yourself and nature and to build a relationship with the plant.

The plant is not simply something you consume.
It becomes a teacher.

This time, I have been dieting with two different plants, Niwe Rao and Noi Rao.

There is so much I could say, but some things are not meant to be explained. They are meant to be lived.

So here is just a tiny piece of my time in the jungle.

With the plants.
With the forest.
With myself.

Just little pieces of my journey in the Peruvian Amazon, at Jochipapanete @jochipapanete , a place that became my home, where I met both my shadow and my light, and found a family 🌿🤎

Moments that happened to be captured on camera — the jungle, the medicine, the ceremonies, the laughter, the children, the quiet moments in between… but the roots of this journey go so much deeper than what any video could ever show.

This time has taught me, changed me, challenged me, softened me, and brought me closer to myself in ways I’m still discovering.

And somewhere between all of it, especially through my time on my master plan dieta, something beautiful shifted in me.

For a long time, motherhood was something I wasn’t sure about. But this journey showed me something I didn’t expect:

I am okay with giving birth my own child one day 🤎

Not something I came here looking for… just another little part of myself I found in the jungle.

And there is still so much more to come. 🌿

🌿 A little glimpse into a beautiful morning guided by cacao and voice.

I prepared cacao with love, shared it with others and while singing a cacao song, I had a special moment with a baby who seemed to join in and cheer the song. 🤎

After serving the cacao, I found myself in heart-filled conversations and then felt called to follow my energy into the jungle. The path led me to a baby Bobinsana tree, a plant I will soon be dieting with. I offered a little cacao in gratitude and continued walking.

The journey brought me to a place that felt truly magical. There, I felt my voice asking to be released. As I started make sound, it felt as though the trees, the plants and all the beings around me were celebrating alongside me. ✨

For the first time, I decided to record and share this part of myself. It feels like the beginning of something new, a remembering, a reclaiming and a coming home to my voice.
