Shaking!! @aftershockdoc has been nominated for an Emmy! Shamony’s and Amber Rose’s stories, and the whole maternal health crisis, is being uplifted in this space! Wow!!

Congrats to the entire Aftershock team and our incredible partners at @onyxcollective @abcnews and @hulu!

Thank you @shawneethehealer , @m_u_z and @bizmacthe3rd for trusting @tonyalewislee and I with your stories and leading us through this multifaceted journey. You are our heroes.

Congrats to all of our deeply deserving fellow nominees, especially to The Territory’s Darren Aronofsky whose movies inspired me to go film school and whose production company Protozoa Pictures is where I had my first production internship at 17!! 🤯 by @pizelt

A year ago, @aftershockdoc premiered at #sundance. Next week at this year’s Festival, I’m so excited to premiere my latest film, a documentary short, about how rabbis, Jewish organizations, and interfaith leaders are challenging the overturning of #roevwade on the grounds of religious freedom. ⚖️

Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Please add a screening of #UnderG_d to your festival schedule. Can’t wait to be in person!

Some places become more than destinations. They become part of a generation's shared memory.

What a wonderful evening celebrating We Met at Grossinger's with director Paula Eiselt, producer Robert Friedman, Susan Etess, granddaughter of the Grossinger family, and journalist and moderator Budd Mishkin.

This reflection captures the spirit of the evening and reminds us why Grossinger's continues to hold such a special place in so many hearts. Its legacy of community, joy, and belonging lives on through the stories that are still being shared today.

Do you have a Grossinger's story to share? We'd love to hear it in the comments.

Don't miss Docs & Dialogues Closing Night, Tuesday, May 19, as we present WE MET AT GROSSINGER’S, an intimate portrait of the Jewish Catskills, featuring a talkback with director Paula Eiselt and Producer Bobby Friedman.

The Borscht Belt-themed evening will include a dessert reception. The film is an immersive journey through the Borscht Belt, reviving the iconic resort that inspired Dirty Dancing and defined an era of Jewish American life.
