Guiding is a lot more difficult than people think. It’s not just 20” fish and girls in bikinis. It’s a lot of work with long days and stress too. This week we sat down with @pjguides and asked him what it’s like to be a guide. His answer might surprise youyou. #flyfishing #flyfishingguide #flyguide #troutfishing #guidelife by @pjguides

Now that people have fallen in love with fly fishing, it’s become a lot more crowded. We spoke this week with @pjguides about the etiquette of crowds and how to yield space on the rivers we love. This is a great conversation! Have a listen! #flyfishing #flyfishingguide #driftless #troutfishing #guidelife by @pjguides

Had a great time with @schultzoutfitters on our hosted trip to MICHIGAN. @jake_marthaler and @nick_minesinger did awesome guiding us on the rivers too many smallies. The temps were hot and the air smokey but our rods were bent and the laughs nonstop. Looking forward to the next trip. If you want in on the fun let me know and we'll get you on the list.

@scientificanglers reload. Some great fly lines to chase trout and smallies. Leaders and tippet can't be beat. Excited to see how the launch pad works in the @stealthcraftboats raft and drift boat. Let's go!

Some great days on the water with some nice fish hitting the bag. With brook lamprey my jiggy nymph streamer in Olive has been working great. We're booked out for May and just have a few openings in June. Let me know and we'll fit you in where we can.

Big thanks to @orvisgrandrapids for the great turnout for my talk on the Driftless. Fun little casting comp before and some tasty beverages made for an awesome time. Thanks again 👍🏻
