I’m honored to share that I have been selected as one of the inaugural DFW 100 Most Influential Young Professionals Under 40, presented by the Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals! 🏆✨ @dfwulyp

This recognition reflects more than a title. It represents the communities that have trusted me, the leaders and mentors who have poured into me, and the incredible colleagues, partners, and friends who have worked alongside me to turn purpose into meaningful action.

My journey has always been rooted in service, equity, connection, and the belief that leadership is ultimately measured by the opportunities we create for others. I’m grateful to be recognized among an inspiring group of young professionals who are helping shape the future of the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Kingston D’Quan Joelle Moton-Poole

It is with a deeply broken heart that I share the passing of my baby, my sweet Kingston.

A week ago today, Kingston experienced an unknown neurological event that ultimately led to respiratory failure. I fought to save him with everything in me. Losing him has been one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever had, and the weight of this grief has been incredibly hard to carry.

Kingston was so much more than a dog to me. He was my baby, my companion, my comfort, my joy, and such a constant source of love through so many chapters of my life. He came into my world during a very different season, and through every transition, every high, every heartbreak, and every unknown, he was there. His presence brought me peace, purpose, laughter, and a kind of unconditional love that is hard to put into words.

The bond we shared was incredibly special. He knew me. He felt me. He loved me in a way that only he could, and I loved him just as deeply. Anyone who ever met Kingston knew how special he was. He had a light, a sweetness, and a spirit that made people smile. He brought joy everywhere he went, but the joy he brought into my life was immeasurable.

I will carry him with me forever. And when life feels especially hard, I know the love we shared and the memories we made will continue to hold me.
