Back on my weetabix fix with these black forest inspired protein weetabix cookies for breakfast 😌 Cherry yogurt with chocolate weetabix cookies, sea salt dark chocolate chunks, frozen blueberries that I heated up to make a compote kind of thing (would have been better with cherries but didn't have any!) and hemp seeds. The little bits of chocolate slightly melted against the cookies and it was absolutely divine 😌 (To make the cookies I just mixed protein powder with milk until thick and then crushed in some weetabix - make them into balls and flatten them and then air fry for about 15 minutes but flip halfway through) Approx 30g protein and just bloody lush 🥰

Sainsbury's sweet treat haul 😌 has anyone else tried the new biscuits from Sainsbury's?? As a sweet treat lover I was well excited by them but I found them pretty disappointing 😣 apart from the chocolate chip oaties cos tbf you can't go wrong with them?!! Otherwise I would give the bourbons a 2 out of 10 and the nice biscuits a 3 out of 10 🥴 still makes for a cosy afternoon sofa snack tho so I'm not entirely mad about it 🤷 also verrrrry excited about the @bouncefoods balls cos I've never had that flavour before but the millionaires ones are my absolute fave eek!! What's everyone else's thoughts on the biscuits pls, am I just being a party pooper? 🙃

He's only gone and done it again 😍😌 josh whipped up a beef* madras for dinner tonight completely from scratch and oh my goshhhhh - just incredible!!! Served with rice, tandoori aubergine and a garlic & coriander naan. I had a splodge of mango chutney and aubergine pickle too, and josh had extra chill in his using the Mr Naga hot pepper pickle - not for me thanks😳!!! I can't even explain how nice this was - way better than any takeout and the best madras I've ever had!! ⭐ (*@eat_oumph beef style strips)

Date night idea - scrabble and cake perhaps?? We have a mug of easy peasy weekly date ideas that we blindly chose and this was this weeks pick!! ☺️ Baked a coffee cake with chocolate chips, coffee buttercream, a cocao sprinkle and walnut crumb (Josh's request) for the occasion and got thrashed at scrabble 🥴 was cute tho!! 🫶
(Used the Loving It Vegan recipe btw and just made a couple of tweaks for the extra bits 🥰)

Solo dinner tonight cos josh is away but there aren't really 'girl dinners' round here cos I love cooking and eating delicious and nutritious food too much 😌 so anyway tonight I made a peanut butter curry gyoza bake ☺️ basically defrosted some peanut butter curry mix that I had made up a while back (just mix peanut butter, sriracha, soy sauce, curry powder and brown sugar then freeze it in cubes and you can make curry or ramen whenever you want by adding water or coconut milk - so quick and easy!!) then I added water and layered some veggies in the bottom of the tray (baby corn, mangetout and broccoli), plopped some gyozas in and cooked in the oven. Topped with baked crumbled tofu pieces, black sesame seeds, crispy onions and chilli oil - so warming and easy and delicious!! 🥰 Eaten whilst watching Mock the Week which is one of my comfort shows that I watch when abroad?? Fun fact lol. Anyway hope everyone has had a lovely evening!! ⭐

Date night to end September and it was funnnnn!!! The food and vibes at @cambridge_street_collective were mega!! Although we were very full and ngl the majority of the spice bag for scranned by josh in bed once we got home 🤣 Don Broco tickets were technically my birthday present but it still counts at Josh's date night so it's my turn to plan date night for October - how exciting!! 😌

Haven't had a chippy tea in sooooo long and omg this hit the spot 🤤 Sea & Earth in Leek (swipe for the vegan menu) SO good!! I had the banana blossom fish, josh had the battered sausage option with a fishcake on the side and we both shared mushy peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce 😌 Which option are you choosing?!

Bacon and leek quiche tonight as an easy peasy high protein dinner 😌 honestly soooo easy, just pick the flavour you want (our faves are sausage&leek or just bacon) and then blend up some tofu (I use 2 blocks for this size quiche) with milk, nooch, cheese and seasoning, whack it all in a pastry case and bake until golden. Served it tonight with crispy paprika potatoes and broccoli, but it's even better the next day for lunch!! 😋 What other flavour combos could we try?? 🤔

5 ingredients mini twix bars??? Heck yeh!!!!!!
Used the Wallflower Kitchen recipe for the shortbread, blitzed up some dates (pre-soaked in boiling water for a while) and then dunked in melted chocolate and let cool in the fridge for a while and iTS AS EASY AS THAT!!! They're rustic looking cos I'm impatient but trust me that they are absolutely delightful 😌🙌

Lovely lovely stuff from @onthebridgecafe which is one of my fave local spots 🫶 We shared the artichoke toastie and the deli plate with a spinach filo parcel. We then got coffee (decaf dirty chai w coconut milk for me and an oat flat white for josh) and a cinnamon pastry to take away, which we enjoyed by the river and it was all DELICIOUS!! I looooove a cosy lunch spot on a sunny Sunday so this was just perfect 😌🙌
