UPCOMING EXHIBITION | Networks of Precarity

What does the future of technology hold in a world that feels increasingly unstable? And how do we stay attentive to the everyday vulnerabilities that emerge when technological progress takes centre stage?
Networks of Precarity explores these questions through our current technopolitical landscape, focusing on the human scale of technology: on bottom-up initiatives, magical traditions, and the ways we navigate our increasingly digital lives.

The works of @jeroen_van_loon Jeroen van Loon, Ginevra Petrozzi @ginevraarvenig and latency.club @latency.club embrace friction, uncertainty and ambiguity rather than trying to resolve them. Together, they create space to think about what it means to live, connect and exist together in a world shaped by technology, and to imagine forms of shared precariousness.

Curated by @liekew0uters, Networks of Precarity also marks a new beginning for POST: this will be the first exhibition at our new location in the NYMA Watertower, Nijmegen.

𝗘𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗱𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗸 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗡𝗶𝗷𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻!

Na de uitbreiding van POST Arnhem begint ook in Nijmegen een nieuw hoofdstuk. Na ruim 30 jaar in de Paraplufabriek verhuist POST dit najaar naar de iconische NYMA Watertoren.

Achter de schermen zijn we hier als team al een tijd mee bezig. Nu het contract is ondertekend, kunnen we eindelijk vertellen waar we de afgelopen maanden naartoe hebben gewerkt. We kijken er enorm naar uit om deze bijzondere plek, samen met torenbewoners Desem en Drup tot leven te brengen en zijn benieuwd naar alles wat deze nieuwe stap mogelijk gaat maken. We kijken ernaar uit om onderdeel te worden van het bruisende NYMA-terrein.

We openen onze nieuwe locatie op 2 oktober met de groepstentoonstelling Networks of Precarity, samengesteld door @liekew0uters, met werk van latency.club, Jeroen van Loon en Ginevra Petrozzi.

POST is proud to be part of 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝙄𝙠 𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙛 𝙜𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙪𝙞𝙣, 𝙞𝙠 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠, the 13th edition of the public art exhibition that transforms Arnhem into a platform for contemporary art, dialogue, and collective imagination.

@sonsbeek_artprojects 2026 explores the theme of “memory as living action”, reflecting on how art can contribute to renewal, community, and shared futures. At POST, you can experience works by two internationally acclaimed artists:

- Korakrit Arunanondchai @kritbangkok : An artist and filmmaker interested in animsim and science fiction. He explores spaces as animistic bodies and activates them through installation and performance.

- Forensic Architecture @forensicarchitecture : An interdisciplinary research agency that develops and employs innovative methods for investigating state and corporate violence.

Only a few days to go for 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙠 2026: 𝙄𝙠 𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙛 𝙜𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙪𝙞𝙣, 𝙞𝙠 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠!

This is your last chance to experience the full Sonsbeek programme across all participating locations, as the exhibition comes to an end on 11 October.

But there’s good news if you haven’t made it to POST yet! The exhibition at POST, featuring works by @forensicarchitecture and Korakrit Arunonandchai @kritbangkok, remains on view until 13 December. So, if you’ve seen the works in Sonsbeek Park but haven’t visited POST yet, there’s still plenty of time. Or perhaps you’ve only seen part of the films and want to catch the rest?

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧: From 11 October onwards, POST Arnhem will be open Thursday–Sunday, 12:00–17:00. This is different from our opening hours during Sonsbeek 2026, as we return to our 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀*.

How can we restitch forgotten histories? How can stitching become a tangible act of resistance?

Join us for an afternoon of embroidery, screenprinting, conversation, and collective making with @lestaribergerak.

Together, we’ll explore revolutionary cultural histories in Indonesia, drawing from the archive of LEKRA (Lembaga Kebudayaan Rakyat) and connecting these histories to struggles taking place today.

Participants will contribute to a collective patchwork banner through embroidery and screenprinting. You’re welcome to bring your own piece of fabric to add to the banner.

A big thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us yesterday evening. This opening was a little different from usual, which made it all the more special.

Guiding you through our two exhibition floors, we couldn’t be more proud of how the first step of this new location has turned out.

We’re excited to welcome you all to our new exhibition, Networks of Precarity.

Starting today, you can visit POST every Thursday–Sunday, 12:00–17:00, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the NYMA Watertower.

How can commoning become a practice of resistance to the ongoing violences of coloniality? And how might collective practices of care, sharing, and organising help us imagine and build reparative futures?

Interplay of Commons is a 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 exploring commoning as a form of praxis, bringing together theory, embodied knowledge, collective learning, and action. All events can be participated in seperately!

Across three gatherings, research activists, cultural workers, social workers, and artists come together to explore how commoning takes shape in different contexts. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, we will learn from one another and consider how these practices can move with us into our everyday lives and communities.

This Friday, we'll celebrate our move to our new POST Nijmegen location, the NYMA Watertower, with the opening of our first exhibition there: Networks of Precarity. You are all invited to join us in celebrating POST’s new location, to enjoy a drink, and be among the first to see the exhibition Networks of Precarity.

Networks of Precarity, curated by @liekew0uters focuses on the human dimension, bottom-up initiatives and magical traditions in our relationship with technology. With works by Ginevra Petrozzi, Jeroen van Loon and latency.club.

Earlier this month, we screened the Dutch premiere of The Last Responders, a new film by @forensicarchitecture . We had the honour of being joined by Elliot Bourne, Research Coordinator at Forensic Architecture, and the Sonsbeek 2026 curatorial team.

Following the screening, attendees had the opportunity to speak with Elliot about the investigation method of Situated Testimony, and about the ways in which the film engages with memory and trauma, a theme that runs throughout Sonsbeek 2026, of which Forensic Architecture at POST is part.

A big thank you to @sonsbeek_artprojects for organising the event. For us, it also marked the first public event hosted in our newly extended space at POST Arnhem!

While The Last Responders is no longer on view, the work of Forensic Architecture remains part of the 'Sonsbeek 2026: Ik hoef geen tuin, ik deel een park' exhibition. The method of Situated Testimony also features in several of the other films currently on view at POST. At POST, the work of Forensic Architecture can be visited until late December.

TERUGBLIK / RECAP: THE LAST RESPONDERS — FORENSIC ARCHITECTURE & EARSHOT POST, Arnhem — 10 september

Op 10 september vertoonden we in POST de Nederlandse premiere van The Last Responders, een nieuwe onderzoeksfilm van Forensic Architecture (@forensicarchitecture) en Earshot (@earshot.ngo). De film reconstrueert de aanval van 23 maart 2025 in Tel al-Sultan, Gaza, waarbij Israëlische strijdkrachten vijftien Palestijnse hulpverleners doodden. Aan de hand van de getuigenissen van de twee overlevende medici en video- en audio-opnamen van die nacht brengt de film de mishandeling, executies en verdoezeling aan het licht die tijdens en na de aanval plaatsvonden.

Na de vertoning ging Elliot Bourne (@elllioot), onderzoekscoördinator van de film bij Forensic Architecture, in gesprek met het publiek. Bourne vertelde over de totstandkoming van het onderzoek en over de methode van Situated Testimony, en hoe die zich verhoudt tot herinnering en trauma.

On September 10, we screened the Dutch premiere of The Last Responders at POST, a new investigative film by Forensic Architecture and Earshot. The film reconstructs the events of March 23, 2025, in Tel al-Sultan, Gaza, when Israeli forces massacred fifteen Palestinian aid workers. Anchored in the testimonies of the two surviving medics and video and audio recordings from that night, it exposes the abuse, executions, and concealment that took place during and after the attack.

After the screening, Elliot Bourne, research coordinator of the film at Forensic Architecture, answered questions from the audience. Bourne shared how the investigation was developed and discussed the Situated Testimony method and how it engages with memory and trauma.

As part of the exhibition Claiming the City: A Squatters’ Allegory, our final ECHO event at the Plu brought together many insightful conversations around squatting, the housing crisis, and the meaning of claiming space in the city.

A huge thank you to @kikikolman for moderating, to @mirka_farabegoli for sharing your depth and insights into the exhibition and your works, to @alideroerink for bringing your perspective, to the invited members of squatting collectives, and to everyone who came and contributed to the conversation.

Last Saturday, during Kunstnacht, we held our final event at @paraplufabrieken . It was also the last opportunity to visit POST at this location.

For now, we’re in the process of moving our inventory to our new location at the NYMA Watertower, as well as to POST Arnhem.

POST at the NYMA Watertower opens in less than two weeks!
