three shoots. three industries. same approach. 🤝

start with what the content needs to do. then build the shoot around it.

🍜 hospitality - new menu photo shoot. we turned the same shoot into an animated menu reveal, so one production day gave them stills and motion.

*photography - Andre Portee
*graphic design - Andrew Townsel

📝 classes/enrollment - a straight-to-camera explainer. she walks people through what she does and what they’ll get out of it. built to make signing up feel easy.

*full production in partnership with GoldenToucan

👷🏼‍♂️home service - on-site job coverage, full production for short form. one shoot feeds organic growth, paid ads, evergreen content, and testimonials.

One of our favorite things to build for clients? Content ideas they can actually keep using. 👀✔️

Not every post needs a complicated concept, full production, or hours of planning!

A lot of times.. the best content is already sitting right in front of you.

With @epoxyplusfs, an example of this is “Flake Friday” — a simple, repeatable way to showcase different flake blends, educate customers on the materials behind their Penntek certified Polyurea floor systems, and highlight some of the details that go into the finished product.

The concept is simple. The execution is simple.

And that’s the whole point. 👏

Good content strategy isn’t about making every post complicated. It’s about finding what makes a business worth talking about and creating ways to talk about it consistently.

The part nobody posts: for every hour of “creating” there’s about 3 more at a desk. Tweaking Invoices, changing up campaigns, shot lists, client emails… rescheduling the reschedule.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a full setup or an iPhone in a random snack aisle - the gear is never the hard part! The system that keeps it moving tho… is.

Making something from scratch is always the fun part. That’s why I got into in the first place. But honestly.. it isn’t even 10% of the day-to-day at this point. The admin work is why the shoot even happens at all. taken in Fort Wayne, Indiana by @playbookcreativeagency
