Because I felt like it and I trust myself.

The timing wasn’t logical and the plan wasn’t thought out, but as part of this journey I’ve learned to listen to the important little whispers and act on them faster. I cut my locs with faith that the experience would be messy, beautiful, and necessary. It was all of that and more.

Dump of the chop ✂️

I can honestly say I’ve never sat in front of a mirror for that long and it was interesting to see what came up. Cutting off and combing out your own locs isn’t for the weak, and neither is cutting your own bob. Pretty sure I can do anything now. 🦾🧚🏼‍♀️✨ by @playbraids
