Junior Naturalists Are Growing Something Special! 🌳

Our Junior Naturalists learned all about pollinators during last night’s program, then got creative with watercolor artwork inspired by what they learned!

Their artwork will be featured at Friday’s Ballou Park Reforestation Project, connecting their creativity and curiosity to a day of planting trees and growing a greener Danville.

We love seeing our young naturalists learn, create, and get involved in caring for the outdoors!

📅 Ballou Park Reforestation Project | Friday, October 9 | 4–7PM
📍 Ballou Park | 760 West Main Street

2 Days Until We Plant for the Future! 🌳
Join Danville Outdoors, Danville, VA Public Works, Virginia Department of Forestry, community partners, and fellow volunteers this Friday as we continue the Ballou Park Reforestation Project.

📅 October 9 | 4-7PM
📍 Ballou Park | 760 West Main Street

Every tree planted today helps provide shade, support wildlife, improve air quality, and strengthen Danville’s tree canopy for generations to come.

A special thank you to The Gabriella Garden Club for donating three trees as part of the Garden Club of Virginia’s GCV250 Tree Project, celebrating America’s. Through this statewide initiative, native trees are being planted across Virginia to strengthen our tree canopy and create a lasting gift for future generations.
