Get in the Halloween spirit with National Links Trust!

Join us for a free family event on Saturday, October 31st from 1-3 PM at Rock Creek Park Golf. There will be family-friendly activities including pumpkin painting, face painting, and a costume contest, as well as hot cider, donuts, and candy. Free parking will also be available on-site.

Join us for our final Free Lesson Friday event of 2026! We are wrapping up the season at historic Langston Golf Course on Friday, October 9th, from 4:30-6:30 PM.

Designed for golfers of all skill levels, the event features our signature instructional stations covering chipping, putting, and the full swing. To ensure a welcoming and accessible environment for beginners, we will also have BirdieBall and Bucket Golf stations active throughout the evening.

Over the next several weeks, we will wrap up our 2026 Free Lesson Friday series.

Tomorrow, September 18th, we are partnering with First Tee - Triad and the Outpost Foundation at historic Gillespie Golf Course in Greensboro, NC from 5:00-7:00 PM for our final road event of the year. Following Greensboro, the series returns to Langston Golf Course on September 25th and October 9th to close out the season.

Attendees at each event will enjoy our signature setup, featuring focused chipping, putting, and full-swing instructional stations. We will also feature BirdieBall and Bucket Golf to ensure a fun, accessible environment for beginners of all skill levels.

This Sunday, join us at historic Langston Golf Course for a Washington Commanders watch party!

Starting at 3:30 PM, catch all the opening week action on a massive 14' x 8' outdoor screen. We’ll also have a full tailgate spread, drinks, and special appearances from @majortuddy and the @commandforce!

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under, which includes all-you-can-eat food, soft drinks, and exclusive Commanders merchandise giveaways.

This week is your last chance to take advantage of our Jack Vardaman Workforce Development Program junior caddies seven days a week at historic Langston Golf Course. Starting next week, caddies will still be available on weekends throughout the rest of the fall.

With every round they loop, our junior caddies are developing valuable life skills and creating pathways to higher education through scholarship programs like the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Program: a full housing and tuition college grant.

Thanks to our partners at the Western Golf Association, there are no upfront caddie fees when you play. We just ask that you tip your caddie directly, with a recommended rate of $40 per bag.

While the eyes of the golf world were on last week’s US Amateur Championship, everyone at National Links Trust was rooting particularly hard for Northern Virginia’s own Logan Reilly.

An incoming sophomore at Auburn University, Logan competed for the varsity golf program at Bishop O’Connell High School. As a freshman, he was coached by Tema Masters, now the General Manager at East Potomac Golf Links, and regularly practiced and competed at the facility. It was inspiring to see a player whose formative years included affordable, accessible golf go on to compete at the highest level of amateur golf. Great playing, Logan!
