AI isn’t giving you bad content. You’re giving it bad direction. If you want AI to actually sound like your brand, start here: 01. Give it context, not a sentence. Who are you? Who are you talking to? What are you selling? Why should they care? 02. Define the feeling. “Professional” means nothing. Editorial? Provocative? Playful? Aspirational? Quiet luxury? Be specific. 03. Show it what good looks like. Examples, references and previous content will get you further than another 400-word prompt. 04. Tell it what NOT to do. No clichés. No corporate filler. No fake-deep hooks. No “in today’s fast-paced world.” Please. 05. Never let the first answer be the final answer. Prompt. Critique. Refine. Repeat. But here’s the part people miss: AI can execute direction. It can’t replace having one. That’s where we come in.
