I’m on Ulleungdo, spectacular volcanic island 200km east of South Korea…the air is so fresh, the water so clear, you can circumnavigate the whole island on a local bus in a couple of hours for $4…worth the wait…magical island only reached by ferry and famously rough crossing - totally worth it. I haven’t seen another Caucasian face for a week now and have experienced such kindness from the people here 💗 #travel #southkorea #ulleungdo #island #solotravel #solofemaletraveler #solofemaletravelerover50 #womenwithadhd #womenhelpingwomen #beautifulworld #whereintheworldareyoumum taken in Ulleungdo by @playhousecreature

In K-Drama there’s a trope - it’s raining, a character is getting soaked, and then, another character appears with an umbrella to shield them from the rain…until I came to South Korea, I didn’t understand how important umbrellas are here…for protection from sun and rain…I’m really enjoying seeing them everywhere #southkorea #kdrama #travel #soloatsixty #womenwithadhd #sixtyisthenewfierce #jeju #actor #voiceartist #nofilter taken in 제주도 Jeju Island by @playhousecreature
