so grateful to every single person who supported and came down, whether you’ve been following for years, or it was your first time, i appreciate you all and my soul is SO full 😭 thank you to @cornercornercanadawater for letting me host for the third time <3

we sold out of every single workshop AGAIN (over 100 seats) and hit over 5,000 ticket sales which is actually beyond surreal 🥹

and i have a SURPRISE i’m gonna do one last christmas market in december, opening applications tomorrow!!!

80% of our curated line up is made up of POC makers, with 20% of spaces open to non-POC creatives, Playing Outside was created to make more space for the global majority to be seen, supported and celebrated especially within UK creative spaces where we’re so often underrepresented

I started this year with my first market ever with @playing__outside and last weekend I capped it off at the same venue, with the same event – only this time, the scale and quality had only increased ten fold!! ✨

I’m so grateful to @shaw.22 for putting this creative space together! I had my biggest single sales day yet!

Thank you to everyone who purchase a piece of my artwork 💞 I’d love to see them in your spaces so please tag me if you decide to share.

I’ll be leaving London in December so all my remaining stock will be available on my site (link in bio) until the end of November!! Shop now as I won’t be restocking 🌹

We SOLD OUT AGAIN!! 😭🎉 Last Saturday we were @playing__outside with over 5000+ of you!!

Thank you! We left feeling inspired, fuelled with even more passion to continue and gratitude to all of those who came by, resonated with our mission and bought from our 2nd collection - the biggest drop from our Cowhide Collection & both colour ways sold out… 😭 real tears!

ALSO we hosted our SOLD OUT Foil Embossing workshop!! (It deserves its own post)

A special thank you to @earth.works_ , our first designer to be platformed by @afamiliarplace_ . Salma’s ceramics were loved by so many of you and her incense holders sold out within 6 mins of each other!! Her work speaks for itself - beautifully crafted ❤️‍🔥

Thank you to @shaw.22 for supporting & creating the perfect space for us to showcase our work with @playing__outside . The energy at @cornercornercanadawater was INCREDIBLE, you did that sis!!

So here’s what my first art market looked like…

But first, a massive thank you and big love to the Wonderwoman @shaw.22, founder of @playing__outside, for bringing us to @cornercornercanadawater and making this all possible! 🩵💐🌷

20 minutes into doors opening I had my first sale and from then, so many people interacted and engaged with my stall. There were lots of laughs, smiles, and positive energy. Thank you to everyone who purchased from me. Most of my paintings are now gone so I’ve got lots of space for something new :)

it’s hard to put into words a dream i’ve had for 7 years coming to life, better than i had ever even imagined back then, i’m still in shock there’s already over 5,000 of you who connect with the space im building and wanted to come through to be a part of it last saturday

all i’ve ever wanted since 2019 was a community of cool beautiful creatives around me that i can support and grow with and the energy is truly mutual, no jealously, competition or anything like that

every time it’s one of the hardest things ive ever done and theres SO many breakdowns behind the scenes but im so proud of myself and of all the insanely talented creators involved

i’ve poured so much blood sweat and tears into building @playing__outside this year and it’s really hard to process how it’s grown and impacted people in such a short space of time

forever grateful for every single person who shows up and supports and is a part of these events, baby rajvi would be in awe if she saw me 7 years ago!!!
