I finally get to share this!

Today, The Gospel Coalition published an article I wrote: “What Meeting My Biological Family at 30 Taught Me About the Church.”

I’m building on social media for 3 reasons

1- For the church to not only be alive only on Sundays but Mondays and all week. To encourage faith to be lived practically

2 - To make a better world for my adoptive son. As an adoptee I want to elevate adoptee’s voices and strengthen the adoption community

3 - To empower Christians to live into God’s beautiful vision of a multi-cultural church. One that reflects what heaven will be like. I want Christians to have tools to realize it here on earth

My brother @stephensplawn is launching an intentionally multi-ethnic church tomorrow! If you live in the Columbia area you need to come show out and show up at 9:30 AM at Jeep Rogers YMCA.

He’s a phenomenal preacher and steward of the word! And he pastors people with a heart I’ve seen in only a few other men. You’re going to be blessed Columbia!
