That feeling when you're a simple street mime who gets possessed by a sexy demon... we've all been there 😈

Thanks for having me @plugholescratch for your first birthday celebration, incredibly funny acts and the loveliest audience a drag thing could ask for!

I've wanted to do an act to an @igorrr song since I started thinking about doing drag. Over two years later, I'm incredibly glad to have done just that! I find their music so expressive and comedic; I enjoy coming up with narratives based on their creative instrumentation and singing/screaming/growling without lyrics. This was a real treat for me, and I had quite a few audience members come up after excited by the song choice of "Cheval". Hopefully I did the audio justice with my captions 😂

I've not done mime before, so this was a new avenue for Freddie! I love how drag gets you down so many rabbit holes of learning, I'm keen to add more mime/clowning to what I can bless/curse a stage with 🤡

We are absolutely ecstatic to announce this one!

Fresh from an outstanding Edinburgh fringe run :

PLUGHOLE PRESENTS:

LAWRENCE DODD - This can't be it!

Come and see the show of your LIFETIME. It’s my (LOZ DODD) show—a special show like NO other. DIFFERENT EVERY TIME. Powerful AND urgent. What even is this, where are we going & how do we know what’s real? COME, you’ll CHANGE—GUARANTEED. In his quest to make sense of everything, Loz discovers he knows nothing. In this disintegration, he tries to find meaning with whats left — himself, in a room, with others. Part performance art, part contemporary clowning, This Can’t Be It is a semi-improvised, feverish & open hearted exploration of how we stay open—to mystery, to each other—in the midst of uncertainty and collapse.

Directed by Lara Ricote

Welcome to the PLUGHOLE -

General Waste!!
@the_general_waste

General Waste, at your disposal!!

The clown that’s down to frown is back in Sheffield after a hiatus for 3 years in Manchester. His comedy is obscure, perturbed and strangely custard. The taste is low but the reports tested high. Welcome, or don’t, General Waste!!!

It's only 1 month till the next PLUGHOLE!! 🎉🎉🎉 and we'd like to welcome a wonderful returning player -

Stuart Dunlop @stuart.dunlop.184 -

writer/actor/improviser/translator and curator of lists.

Based in Sheffield (and based on a story by Michael Morpurgo), he is the host of The Alternative Cobra Meeting, writer of the surreal podcast "Kio and Maxi's Adventures in Everything", and a member of The Langoustines improv troupe.

He also regrets his choice of promo pic for this event.
