Last weekend was an incredibly busy one! ❤️

It was hard work for the whole team, but seeing so many customers enjoying and appreciating our food made us all very happy.

One dish in particular caught a lot of attention — our Crispy Oyster Mushroom 🍄✨

It has always been one of our team’s favourite dishes, but somehow it’s been one of our best kept secrets. Until now!

As always, we prepare everything with fresh ingredients and our own recipes, making sure every dish is full of flavour.

And today, we’ve prepared even more fresh oyster mushrooms!

It’s a vegan dish, but you definitely don’t have to be vegan to love it. 🌱🔥

A stylish pocket of tranquility inside Cambridge Street Collective.
I’m normally a pho kind of lass but decided to try a rice bowl with crispy oyster mushrooms. Wow. Fresh, bold flavours and those crispy mushrooms were to die for. Even little Miss Yorkshire loved them. She also shared a pulled pork pho with her Grandad - a flavoursome pick me up broth. My mum polished off the Banh Minh. These guys have relocated a couple of times and this setting is the perfect minimalist canvas for their food which is popping with colour and flavour.

PLUS 84, SHEFFIELD 🇻🇳

AD a Vietnamese feast at @plus84_uk! There were plenty of vegan options on offer and crispy fried oyster mushrooms or pulled oyster mushrooms as sub for meat

It didn’t feel like the most authentic of Vietnamese food (I’m forever a Vietnamese food snob from spending 2 months in Vietnam!) but everything was nice and my faves were the veg dumplings and the noodles topped with crispy fried oyster mushrooms👌🏽 the salt n pepper oyster mushrooms were also good dipped into a sauce (but weren’t overly salt’n’peppery on their own)

🇻🇳✨ If you’re heading to Cambridge Street Collective, make sure Plus 84 is on your hit list.

Ad - invite | With a recently revamped menu, we had to pop down and try some of the new dishes & honestly... everything we ordered was packed with flavour.

The standout for me was the wok-fried noodles with braised beef. Rich, comforting & full of flavour, this was one of those dishes where every mouthful was just as good as the last.

The lemongrass chicken rice bowl was another favourite. It felt so fresh, with crunchy pickled vegetables adding the perfect contrast to the beautifully marinated chicken. The chicken itself was absolutely delicious - I’d happily take an extra pot of that sauce to pour over everything!

Now, let’s talk about the crispy salt & pepper oyster mushrooms... these are completely non-negotiable. Crispy, addictive & ridiculously moreish. I genuinely think I’ll be dreaming about them for a while.

We also tucked into some steamed vegetable dumplings, which were light, delicate & the perfect addition to the feast.

Everything was washed down with a refreshing hibiscus mocktail from the bar, & I love that Plus 84 has its own dedicated seating area within Cambridge Street Collective, making it feel like a little destination of its own.

If you’re a fan of fresh, vibrant Vietnamese flavours, this is definitely one to add to your list.
