Sunfish pond via Garvey Springs, AT, sunfish fire road, Buckwood, Douglas trails. For all you AT fans, you may recognize it from Bill Bryson hiking it as the only place in NJ in A Walk in the Woods. It was so beautiful! I didn't want to do a 10 mile slog from dunfield creek, so I opted for this lollypop loop. Not as crowded as Mt Tammany. It's easier, but it's still a workout with a decent elevation gain. My watch said over 9 miles, All Trails was almost 7, nike+ was 5, and my GPS was 5. All Trails had over 1200 feet elevation gain, the GPS said 525 feet. It's crazy the difference. The GPS is humbling since that's the most accurate 😂 taken in Sunfish Pond by @plussizeskigirl

McDade trail ✅️ Finally! After 3 years, I've completed the 30 mile/60 mile round trip McDade trail. This relatively easy trail runs along the Delaware River in PA. I broke up this trail into over 10 trips over 3 years, tackling a little bit at a time. This trail is also a bike trail, and easy for anyone to try to get into hiking. taken in McDade Trail by @plussizeskigirl

6 mile slog next to a shadeless soybean field. I've been working on chipping away at a large trail system and this was my penultimate leg, albeit the most boring part. The worst was i couldn't get service to listen to my audio book. Every year I question if I should sign up for a half marathon (to walk it) and this felt rough. I don't know if it was because it was so boring, it was easy terrain. I did the 10 mile race a few years ago and felt like i could have done 13.1. I just haven't hiked a lot of mountains this summer like I did the year i did the 10 mile race. by @plussizeskigirl

Today's episode of "i didn't bring the mirrorless camera" So annoyed at myself for forgetting my dry bag for the "real" camera. If i brought the camera, I'd drop it in the lake. If i didn't bring it, something cool would happen. Sure enough, these loons hung out for 15 minutes, just chilling. They didn't yodel, I just added some IG audio. by @plussizeskigirl

Going for a stupid hike for my stupid mental health. Mental health is pretty poor, November can't come soon enough to fix the chemical imbalances. ⛷️ On a happier note. There was fungus among us about every 5 feet. This one section of forest is in full bloom. 🍄🍄 by @plussizeskigirl
