Another #tinyprinttuesday , another nature inspired linocut!

This time it’s a cute lil acorn to add to my collection of forest/foraged mini prints. Had to do some surgery with this handmade paper because the fibres made it hard to rip, but I still think this printmaking process is very satisfying to watch!

Got those summertime vibes ☀️👙🕶️🌻

Cute little two-toned linocut print on homemade paper. I originally made this one in black and grey but I love the white tile and turquoise water much more. Definitely evokes sunny summer days at the pool.

Been in a big art slump lately so here is an older timelapse of one of my tiny prints 🍄. Hopefully I get out of this funk soon because I want to get back to creating.

This linocut is part of my series of mini foraging/nature inspired prints. You’ll be seeing more of these as I try to get back in a creative headspace, hope you don’t mind!

Get ready for #maythe4thbewithyou tomorrow. My Star Wars lino prints will be 20% off!

I made these two prints to be companion pieces. I must admit I think this art style is really effective for capturing the details in the Millennium Falcon and Death Star 2.

Shoutout to the Star Wars stan who lives in my house for these props haha!

I love #tinyprinttuesday !

Here I am printing an inky cap mushroom as part of my Forager Pack of mini prints on my Etsy. I created these packs to make something from the tiny scraps of lino that otherwise would have gone to waste! I’m using @cranfieldcolours Caligo safe wash relief inks and handmade paper from @tornedgepaper

Finally printing my latest lino cut, so happy with how this turned out!

I tried using cardboard with cutouts for my registration process which I’ve never done before. It definitely kept things neat and allowed me to print both colours in one go! I’ll definitely be doing this again.

Carving the final details

So excited to reveal this print soon! I’m hoping to make a little series of prints in this style and this is the first. It’s taken me a while to carve everything but I’m so pleased with the result!! Stay tuned…

New book tracker bookmark on my Etsy shop 📚

Love combining my passion for reading with my passion for lino printing, and the best way to do it is with handmade bookmarks for other book lovers 💜

Any book recs are welcome!

Tools of the trade

While I’m still learning lots about printmaking, I can confidently say these are my most used/favourite tools.

I have a couple of different sizes of hard rubber brayers from @jacksons_art. But could still use a very skinny one in my collection for inking small areas.

The best ink hands down is the oil-based Caligo Safewash Relief ink from @cranfieldcolours. Super workable, super washable.

My #pfeil gouges are amazing. I love the number 12 v tool (2mm) and the number 5 straight tool (8mm). I want a 1mm v gouge as well for that super super fun detail.

Love more tool recs if anyone has them!!!

Work in progress pic 🧠💀

Can’t wait for this lino print to be finished! It’s the first thing I’m going to do once I’m back from vacation! Can you tell what the final print will look like?
