Founders Giving is Saturday, November 14. We are officially one month out. Save the date.

The first Founders Giving was 2024, and it started at Arabia Simeon's table.

Arabia is the founder and CEO of PoGo, the civic tech app helping Gen Z and millennial voters vote informed, a TEDxDetroit speaker, and one of the OG BTSers. She is also a founder who cooks. Really cooks. She chefs it, from scratch and with love. Food is her love language.

After Arabia's mother passed, the holidays felt extremely hard. So she leaned into the thing she loved to do with her mom, cooking. She opened her door to friends and founders in this ecosystem who had similar stories or were far from their people. A potluck. A little music. A room where people who build all year could just be people.

Passion became perseverance. Pain became purpose.

In 2025, we had the privilege of coming alongside Arabia and the PoGo team as a small partner, helping carry what she started.

In 2026, year three, we are proud to stand with her as a bigger, stronger partner, thanks to the Gilbert Family Foundation and its commitment to economic mobility for founders, and to founders being brought into community, welcomed, and celebrated, not tolerated.

Every expedition that ever crossed hard country had someone who knew the way, carried more than her share, and kept walking. In this ecosystem, that is Arabia.

And this season is hard country. Q4 is heavy. The journey is lonely. Seasonal depression is real, and depression is real. All year the world asks founders to be strong and public-facing. For one night, you can set that down.

This year it grows: the potluck, music, and a cozy space to preview some movies, the way the TV stays on at the family house and nobody minds. Bring a dish. Bring yourself.
