February was long and too short 😂

Last month I went to DC for the first cohort of @halcyoninspires Future Builders intensive fellowship. The crash course brought together Black & Latinx women and nonbinary social impact founders.

Over the week we had lit mixers, activities, and skill series teaching us about data rooms, building a team, pitching and more 🙌🏽

I also made a pit stop in Philly to hang out with my vfa gang 🤘🏽at the Philly Phormal activities.

The fellowship ended with a showcase where we got to pitch in front of investors, founders, mentors, and community leaders.

The fun didn’t end there! We celebrated @throwsocialdc 🥳 We went to @nationalportraitgallery and my favorite museum @nmaahc and I got to see some of my beautiful family and friends. It was a week to remember❤️

If you think their moves are good, wait till you see their pitches.

These are Halcyon Incubator’s newest cohort of Future Builders. These social impact founders are fighting for education equity, accessible modest fashion, female healthcare, peaceful conflict resolution and much more.

At Halcyon, the last person to join a meeting has to do a little dance for everyone. However, in anticipation of the Future Builders Showcase, we all joined in!

Meet these social impact founders at Halcyon TODAY, February 9th, at 4PM. Link in bio! 🕊
