It’s not all done and gloom that’s not what I want this page to be and somehow through the life I’ve had I got a miracle back in November 2024 of my little lady Penelope and just look how incredible she is. The last few months she has changed so much and from delayed walking to this has been huge, she wants to walk everywhere even if she does look like a little drunk women, it makes her so happy to be free and if she has to go in her pram she tries to escape 😂 but moments like this melt my heart. This was a little trip to smyths toys this afternoon to start some Christmas shopping and birthday gift hunting because somehow she is 2 next month. Carry on being you Penelope because you are amazing and make me so proud. X by @pokipink_vicky

Those that have been following me for a while know I’m not exactly the pillar of health I’m diabetic who is insulin dependent, I have fibromyalgia & hyper mobility, insomnia and anxiety. A lot of this has come from childhood abuse I suffered at a young age and the effects it’s had on my adult life but because of this I am little fragile at times mentally and with pain and sleep deprivation I can sometimes become overwhelmed. This aside I’ve always been quite self conscious because of my weight and being bigger lady and the battle this has when on insulin this is not a eat less situation, I have had to have help in the pass few times from not eating because I felt like every mouthful would make me fat so only way to loose weight was to stop eating altogether but all this did was cause dangerously low glucose levels and further fatigue. I also suffer from extremely rosey cheeks at first it can be cute when growing up but not when you look like a beetroot all the time and if I’m warm watch out I’m red and if I’m ill imagine white circles around just your eyes and mouth it’s horrible and before I would hide but not now as a mum because it’s unfair on Penelope and her development so we have been breaking the circle and started playgroup which she has been enjoying because first time she is mixing more with kids her age and I get to meet other parents/grandparents in local area. Anyway I had to try and get control so it was back to the doctors and over little while we are looking into other reasons for some of my issues and that means testing for autoimmune diseases such as lupus etc… but back in summer my test got lost and had to have done again last week and it was not pleasant and I’m use to needles. Results have come back positive but this is not a final diagnosis still a way to go to find out if my positive result is my own antibodies attacking itself or if it’s a false positive it’s just another path we are investigating. I’m still trying to support penny as much as I can with help at home of course and stay true to myself because I’ve lost myself over last 10 years more so last 5 at least and I need to find the fighter that rebuilt her life from depression. by @pokipink_vicky

I haven’t had a worse reaction to a blood test in years, I don’t know if the woman was having a bad day or what but never had anyone try and get blood out of the side of my arm crease when there was a huge good vein in centre and with that 1/4 of a bottle later blood stopped so she started moving it around and nothing so had to start again in different part of my arm and almost instantly a bruise was forming and now 2 days on this is what I’m left with which is so sore because it’s on the crease. This could have been avoided also if my bloods were not lost the first time 🥲 by @pokipink_vicky

Wow 🤩 1 booster bundle with 6 packs in and got 5 hits honestly never seen hit rates like this. Now have 2 of the 3 legendary birds which very happy about but 3 AR 1 classic collection 1 standard ex is just incredible. Few duplicates now from a total of 25 packs total opened and 17/30 pikas complete with a few dupes. Last thing I’m chasing still is that beautiful sylveon 🌸🎀🥰 by @pokipink_vicky

Haven’t felt like this in so long but life keeps shitting on me every time I try and get settled and some sort of routine not just for myself but for Penelope. Even today we was meant to go to our second week of a playground and I couldn’t do it, I’m burnt out and stressed that it’s playing havoc with my diabetes and my sugar levels and yet again because I can’t cope penny misses out. I’m trying my absolute best to provide safety for her but I’m fighting a loosing battle and the world never seems to want to give me a break. Now I have nothing left to give, and the person that suffers is my daughter, feel like an absolute failure by @pokipink_vicky

Small return today, not our best with regards to grades but still learning and note to self is baby shinys do not grade well. Both had great centering etc.. but surface score got 7’s no idea why but must be something I can’t see which brought the grades down and with English well we all know it’s either 9 or 10 and sometimes you just hope it ticks over to that 10 but on this occasion fell short but nevertheless some beautiful cards. All already listed on my eBay, links on top of page. Offers welcome on all as with some no price history so had to set a price using similar cards. by @pokipink_vicky

No words can explain how beautiful this collection box is the promos are just works of art and even if I can’t source in English I’m more then satisfied to add this simplified Chinese box to my collection. Box contains: 15 packs 2 stunning promos (night/day) with a display frame and 2 exclusive magnets. Thank you @amircollects for always having the best products for me to add to my collection #pokemon #30anniversary #simplifiedchinese #umbreon #espeon by @pokipink_vicky

May look like not much was done because the area is small on the outside but the needles are long and the damage under can be extensive. This morning I can’t move my arm up even a few degrees without extreme pain even holding a cup is painful so having a 22 month old that’s demanding is a challenge in itself. ultrasound-guided barbotage #ultrasoundguidedbarbotage by @pokipink_vicky
