As entrepreneurs in sport and founders of a community where athletes turn vulnerability into strength, we are appalled by the campaign featuring Sydney Sweeney.

Women have fought for decades to be taken seriously in sport. Reducing a female athlete to a sexualised body dismisses the discipline, sacrifice and achievements behind her success. This is not empowerment. It is objectification dressed up as advertising.

Brands and public figures: represent women athletes as whole people, honour their achievements, and put respect before spectacle.

We at GlucoseClimb are loud and clear: we will continue to fight the sexualisation of women and the discrimination of minorities in sport.
