Hong Kong Chapter🇭🇰♥️

First of all, a huge thank you to Renee @reneejoysinlife for making Hong Kong feel so familiar and so close to my heart during my time teaching here.

To all the girls from @flaunt_studio_hk who came to my classes and to support me on my performance day🫂— thank you for your dedication and trust!

I’m planning to share and show more of my performance later, because so much time, energy, and effort went into making this piece possible.

But for now, I simply want to express my gratitude for being surrounded by so many talented people who constantly inspire me to explore something new, create, experiment, and keep growing✨

Credits:

🪢The idea of using shibari ropes as a prop came from my rehearsals in 2025 for dance show, @ukropnekrupa
Was a choreographer and several monthes we had rehearsal’s where we experimented a lot.
This experience had a profound influence 🖤

@takateryna came to the studio and helped me to came up with the ideas how I can tie the knots. Also shared the knot that can be used for suicide 💀😹😹😹🙏🏻
I promised not use it…🫡

and @nadinnnnnnnnnne helped me bring the performance to life and shape the idea into what it eventually became🪽

@andersondjuly found for me the best corset 🤌🏼👒

When I started to create this piece I wanted to explore perfectionism and self-abuse.

Own expectations tighten around us until they become self-abuse.
Where is this line between self control and self-destruction?

The knots that getting tighter.

………..

What is underneath the perfectionalism?
Fears?..

For the final version, though, I chose to let fear become the core of the piece.

Almost a full circle with these images

@polisha_li_ created a choreography -> I pictured a speck of it -> she used an image I’ve taken for a keepsake -> the keepsake returned to me.

The choreography however is yet to be released and it deserves a big stage and audience. This girl is of grand caliber, I just wish it manifests into reality sooner. She's a true artist. by @polisha_li_
