We’re bringing the front row home. 🎶

@polkaudio is teaming up with @sofarnyc for The Listening Room, a night of live music from emerging artists and a vinyl lounge where you can join the artists to hang, talk, and hear their sets played back with a vinyl DJ.

Grab a cocktail, hear the songs the way the artists actually hear them, and ask the questions you never get to ask.

Thursday, October 22 in New York City. Space is limited, RSVP at the link in bio. 🛋️🎤 by @polkaudio

I’m Andie. If you missed our show, here’s a little look into the magic.✨
@Polkaudio and @sofarsounds created The Listening Room, a space devoted to hearing music differently.

It was a super vulnerable and special experience for me to connect with the audience on a different level and see live reactions to my studio recordings over the Polk Reserve speakers after performing our set.

In my song “Maneater,” one of my favorite elements is the vocal arrangement and how my background vocalists interact with my lead vocals on the record.

When I perform live, I’m often singing alone, so I really miss those harmonies and how they breathe life into my song. There’s also a sneaky little shaker in the background of “Maneater” that almost didn’t make the final mix – but it was too groovy to leave out! taken in Chicago, Illinois by @polkaudio
