We can't ask for more than this! We visited this school last Friday afternoon. The children had been stuck inside all day due to the rain, yet they were fully engaged the whole time! So much so that some of them were still buzzing about Polly Pin the following Monday!

Children even went home and encouraged their families to get sewing!! 📍🪡🧵. @janomeuk they loved Junpei!

From the sewing room to the big stage! We are delighted to share that Polly Pin is coming to @thegoodclothesshow in Manchester this November.

Author Melanie Selver and illustrator Christine Warrington, will be hanging out in the Kidzone, bringing the world of Polly Pin to life for all the mini fashion designers and makers out there.

The Kidzone is incredible - it’s a space where kids get to explore textile upcycling, play with design, and discover how much fun slow fashion can be!

We can’t wait to hear Polly’s message of self-worth, community, and creativity with so many young minds. Will we see you there?

This is an absolute honour @nick.sharratt !! My girls LOVED your books when they were little! Our favourite was 'You Choose!', this sparked so many lovely conversations at bed time and opened up our imagination to go anywhere we wanted and to be who we wanted! We currently have this on the shelf at school in my classroom too!

Our dream is that Polly will be loved by as many children in the future 🪡📍🧵❤️.

@stokebookfestival we have had another lovely day! The Year 2 classes at St. Marks Primary School were a joy to be with! They loved our Story of Polly Pin and fully understood the moral.

As the teacher said, they were mesmerised by the machine, @janomeuk , and we hope to visit again one day to get the children sewing 📍🪡🧵❤️.

What a fabulous afternoon we have had with @literacy_trust at Mill Hill Primary Academy, @coopacademies, as part of the @stokebookfestival .

We shared our book with two Reception classes, sang songs and introduced them to the wonderful world of sewing 🧵🪡📍. We also visited the beautiful library where the children can go and enjoy sharing books together ❤️.

What a privilege to be part of this wonderful festival, celebrating the love the of books in our own city. @janomeuk , the children were fascinated with Noah Needle, Colin Cotton, Junpei Janome and Sally Scissors!
