I’ve always been drawn to the light.

The last warmth on my skin.
Sunlight behind closed eyes.
That feeling I want to stay with a little longer.

In this piece, the trees pass through us.
Hands open. Bodies turn.
The sun lingers in the spaces between.

THE CREATOR | Back to Creation

There’s something deep within us that wants to create.

To return to the beginning. To the source. To that place where imagination, energy and instinct become one.

My latest piece, The Creator, is about that connection.

The feeling that everything around us, the light, the earth, nature, music, even ourselves, is part of an endless act of creation.

Sometimes I feel we spend so much time searching for meaning that we forget we are part of the creation itself.

For me, art is becoming a way of reconnecting with that feeling. Letting go, trusting my instincts and seeing where the journey takes me.

Back to the source.
Back to the light.
Back to creation.

Some words have always hit deep in my soul.

Some music never leaves you. It becomes part of your journey, your memories, your connection to something deeper.

Barefoot in the Head by A Man Called Adam has always been one of those records for me.

And that haunting voice of Rod McKuen, whose beautiful poetry first appeared on The Sea in 1967. An album I’m lucky enough to own and treasure.

I’ve fallen in love with the extended version all over again, and it’s inspired my latest piece of artwork. My own little visual dedication to something that has touched my soul for decades.

Sally Rodgers once described it as a shaman song. I couldn’t agree more. That’s exactly how it feels to me. Something spiritual, something ancient, something that takes you beyond the music and into yourself.

A special thank you to Sally Rodgers, Steve Jones and everyone involved in creating such a wonderful, timeless piece of music. You’ve given us something that continues to resonate, inspire and connect us all these years later.

Some music you hear. Some music you feel deep in your soul.

Stay deep. Stay connected. Stay barefoot in the head.

LOST IN NATURE | A New mix

There’s nothing better for the soul than getting lost in nature.

Sometimes, I lose myself in the light, the movement and the quiet between birdsong and wind, only to find my way back to myself.

I’ve carried that feeling into my latest mix , blending nature, light and imagination until the edges between reality and dreams begin to soften.

A little lost.
A little changed.
A little more at home.

There’s a place somewhere between the rhythm and the rising sun, where time disappears and the soul remembers how to be free.

Where you close your eyes, surrender to the sound, and let the world fall away.

Barefoot beneath the sky.
A heartbeat in the music.
A thousand feelings without a single word.

Perhaps we never really lose ourselves in the dance.

Perhaps that’s where we find ourselves.

We’ve all felt the pull of the moon.

Sometimes it lights the way.
Sometimes we get lost in its darkness.

This may not be a Harvest Moon, but there’s something about Neil Young’s words, the night, the light and that quiet pull above us that feels connected.

Maybe we don’t need to understand it all.
Maybe we’re meant to feel some of it.

Lost in the dark.
Drawn towards the light.

Lost in the rhythm of Stonehenge.

The drums. The movement. The people. The stones. That energy when everyone seems to fall into the same rhythm.

And then there are those moments when you find your tribe.

Meeting Benedict Lamb and the Ancient Chant Collective felt like one of those moments. An instant connection through music, creativity and something much older.

No plan. No performance. Just lost in the moment.

Autumn Equinox 2026.

Sometimes you don’t need to understand the energy.
You just need to feel it.

That moment when you just know you’ve found your tribe.

So honoured to now be part of the Benedict lamb Collective and his extraordinary Ancient Futures collection, and to have my own creativity recognised within it.

Stonehenge has always been more than a place to me. Light, energy, connection. The moment I saw Benedict and the tribe there, something simply clicked. It felt like our paths were meant to cross.

THE OBSERVER, OBSERVED.

I love observing.

And there was something quite special about watching a master photographer at work amongst the stones at Stonehenge.

Watching how he sees.
How he waits.
How he reads the light, the people, the energy.
Those tiny moments most of us would simply walk past.

At the autumn equinox, with the light shifting across the stones and everything happening around us, I found myself less interested in what he was photographing and more fascinated by the photographer himself.

Watching the watcher.

For once, capturing the man who has spent a lifetime capturing everyone else.

For a brief moment, I remembered what I came here for.

Not to achieve anything.
Not to understand everything.
Not even to find anything.

Just to be here.

There’s a line in Burgs by Mt. Wolf that I’ve carried with me for years:

“The chance to be part of this happens briefly.”

Standing at Stonehenge at the autumn equinox, watching that first light come through, those words suddenly felt very different.

Because it is brief.

This sunrise.
This season.
This version of me.
These people around me.
This strange, beautiful chance to experience any of it at all.

Perhaps that’s why I’m drawn to sunrise.

For a few minutes, there’s nothing to chase.

You simply witness something that was happening long before you arrived and will continue long after you’ve gone.

And you get to be there for it.

That morning at Stonehenge, with Burgs in my head, I didn’t feel the need to make sense of anything.

I just noticed.

The stones.
The warm #energy #love #light #stonehenge #air.
The faces.
The sound.
The light.

And the extraordinary privilege of being alive to see it.

Every now and then, life gives you a moment you wish you could hold onto forever.

The light feels different.
The music finds you.
The people around you feel like exactly the people you’re meant to be with.

And for one beautiful moment, time seems to disappear.

You’re not thinking about yesterday.
You’re not wondering about tomorrow.

You’re just there.

Completely alive.
Completely present.
Completely free.

And somewhere inside, you quietly realise…

I’ve arrived.

This is it.

This is one of those moments.
