My top five art experiences of 2025! It was a year full of art that slowed me down, pulled me in, and completely reoriented how I experience space, light, and place. 1.) Immersive light and perception at @moca Geffen with “Olafur Eliasson: OPEN” @studioolafureliasson in Los Angeles, CA 2.) Monumental works embedded in the landscape at @_desertx 2025 in Palm Springs, CA 3.) The maximalist, story-driven world of @meow__wolf @convergencestation in Denver, CO. 4.) The quiet transcendence of the hidden mountainside @jamesturell Skyspace, in Green Mountain Falls, CO @greenboxarts 5.) Full-sensory immersion at @superblue.art in Miami, Florida #ArtTravel #ImmersiveArt #ContemporaryArt #MuseumMoments ArtInTheWild LightAndSpace 2025Recap by @polychromist

Soooo thrilled my Museum design work was featured on the cover of @ranchandcoast Magazine! The Art Alive Premiere Dinner is the event that most stretches my creative muscles and is my absolute favorite to concept! Heart is full! ❤️‍🔥 This cover is the 2023 edition of the event, but i thought it would be fun to show all of the Premiere Dinner events between 2024 and 2015! 2024 - Art of India 2023 - Modern Women 2022 - Op Art | Victor Vasarely 2021 - Frank Stella 2019 - Alfred Eisenstaedt 2018 - Nancy Lorenz 2017 - Surrealism | Rene Magritte 2016 - Pan Gongkai 2015 - Modernism All photos: @baumancommercial except cover is by @ranchandcoast #ranchandcoast #artalive #artalive2025 #artparty #floralevent #floraleverything #floralevents #museumparty #sandiegomuseumofart #artmuseum #artmuse #artevent #artevents taken in San Diego Museum of Art by @polychromist

At Jacumba, daytime is divine, but when the sun goes down, it becomes a cinematic fever dream. Glowing lights, desert shadows, and that slightly surreal feeling that makes you want to stay up just a little too late. A little more from my recent trip to @jacumbahotspringshotel with @stefaniebalesfineart and @createwithgusto All of the fashion in these shots by @simonmillerusa photography by @createwithgusto #desertgetaway #jacumba #jacumbahotsprings #californiadesert #sonorandesert taken in Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel by @polychromist

A new blog post is live ✨ This one features a recent shoot with my longtime friend and artist @montymontgomery , celebrating his work and his incredible new mural and door, “Geo #178” with my other longtime friend Bronson behind the camera. Art, friendship, color, and a whole lot of fun. Always grateful for the creative people in my life who keep inspiring me to see things a little differently. Link in bio to see the full shoot. 🎨 All photos: @baumancommercial Mural located at @kire.group #sandiegomurals #sandiegoartist #murallove #streetartaddicted taken in San Diego, California by @polychromist

Happy birthday to Dale Chihuly. ✨ I’ve been a fan of his work for a long time, so finally getting to experience Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle this summer felt especially meaningful. There’s something about the way his work captures and transforms light that makes it feel alive. A ittle birthday appreciation for an artist whose work has inspired me for years. #DaleChihuly #ChihulyGardenAndGlass #SeattleArt #GlassArt #ArtInspiration taken in Chihuly Garden and Glass by @polychromist

Still thinking about this place ☀️ @jacumbahotspringshotel is one of those properties that’s just as beautiful in person as it looks on camera. quiet, considered, and completely transportive. A true must-stay. #jacumbahotsprings #desertvibes #jacumbahotspringshotel #butmakeitart #whereweart taken in Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel by @polychromist

A desert escape… but make it ART @jacumbahotspringshotel is an aestheticist’s dream. Soft light, mineral water, and a restrained palette of desert neutrals create a study in texture, reflection, and shadow play. A beautiful change of scenery, captured through our own creative lens. If you’re craving an artful desert reset, this is one to put on the list. P.S. A little look back at some of my past shoots with the work of the incredibly talented Monty Montgomery. 🎨✨ Monty is not only a good friend, but an artist whose work I’ve been a huge fan of for years. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot with so many of his murals over time, and I love seeing how each one brings something completely different to the images. And now, we’ve done it again. 👀 I just completed a new shoot with one @montymontgomery newest murals, and I can’t wait to share it soon. Until then, a few favorites from over the years. ❤️ #montymontgomery #fractalart #fractalartist #sandiegoartist #sandiegomurals taken in San Diego, California by @polychromist
