Life Under the Golden Arches by @polyscopes

I am thankful to be alive during the time of the rise of intelligent machines. The Turing test seems to have been passed and LLMs make more reasonable statements than a majority of people. We are still a ways away from real intelligence and continually learning systems but we are also very close. Language is particularly interesting because of its ability to distill meaning into symbols. Learning and intelligence are possible outside of language but language is how humans store and transmit collective knowledge. So while it may seem that LLMs are plateauing I think it is a good foundation for more advanced systems and I believe at some point the machines will have a language of their own with words and concepts we have not yet understood. by @polyscopes

$a single, vertically oriented, crystalline needle of pure ice, slowly rotating and refracting a single beam of white light into a thousand tiny, sharp rainbows on the surrounding blackness| the ice needle begins to melt from the inside out, its sharp facets softening as it transforms into a viscous, silvery, mercury-like tendril that twists and coils upon itself in zero gravity| the silvery tendril flattens and expands into a vast, impossibly thin, iridescent sheet, like the surface of a soap bubble, with slow, hypnotic waves of vibrant, psychedelic color flowing across its surface| the iridescent sheet gently tears, the rips spreading like lightning as it disintegrates into a swirling blizzard of tiny, hexagonal, glowing flakes of light, each pulsing with a soft, cyan glow by @polyscopes$

$a singular point of impossibly bright, magenta light suspended in a void| the point of light fractures, shattering into a million crystalline shards of cyan and gold| the shards flow like a river of liquid glass, their colors swirling and eddying together| the liquid river solidifies into a pulsating, geometric lattice of translucent, glowing tubes| the lattice dissolves into vast, gossamer-thin sheets of iridescent light that ripple and wave| the gossamer sheets twist upon themselves, forming a vortex of spiraling, prismatic ribbons| the ribbons fray at their edges, dissolving into a swarm of incandescent, ember-like particles| the particles coalesce into a swirling nebula of gaseous, deep-violet and electric-orange clouds| bioluminescent, fractal flora bloom within the nebula, their structures glowing with internal light| the fractal flora grows into a dense, interwoven jungle of pulsating, neon-limned vines| the light jungle melts into a viscous sea of molten, chromatic metal with a pearlescent sheen| waves of molten chrome crash, throwing off sparks of solidified, jewel-toned energy| the sparks hang suspended, connected by humming, thread-like tendrils of pure white electricity| the web of tendrils constricts, pulling the sparks together into a single, flawless, chrome orb| the orb's surface cracks open, leaking streams of viscous, rainbow-hued plasma| the plasma drips and rises into towering, architectural spires of opalescent, solidifying light| the spires vibrate and shatter into a cascade of tiny, echoing cubes of pure, saturated color| the cubes accelerate and spin, blurring into concentric rings of streaking, high-velocity light| the rings of light compress inward, collapsing into a single, intensely luminous, white-hot point| the final point of light softly fades, leaving a ghostly, colorful afterimage in the velvety darkness by @polyscopes$

WAN 2.2 from Alibaba is a local ai video model that you can run at home. Here I'm using a sliding context window to shift between 20 different motion graphics prompts. by @polyscopes

In the future no one will watch the same movies as each other. This collection of scenes and sound effects was generated entirely on my computer in a semi automated process. Can you guess what the story is about?

Currently we are limited to <10s clips but by the end of the year I think we will have better continuation methods. These ones are all Hunyuan text to video with very little actual control yet there's still something compelling there. The audio is generated from the video with mmaudio. by @polyscopes

The software of my dreams is starting to take shape. by @polyscopes

Do you need this in your space? This modular drop ceiling LED fixture we created came out great! Looking forward to making an even bigger set up in the future. 🙏 Get in touch if you need this in your space. by @polyscopes
