A beautiful design worked in a mosaic pattern - a technique where you alternate colors row by row. The pattern is created using slip stitches, where one or more stitches are slipped onto the working needle. This results in an interior surface free of the long floats typically caused by color changes. It is a very comfortable and quick knitting technique.

The story behind the naming of the Tamarisk Sweater is so perfect for this design in @woolfolk_yarn Far:

Tamarisk (salt cedar) is named after the graceful tree found in the garden of Georgia O’Keeffe’s home in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Known for its feathery branches and remarkable resilience, the tamarisk thrives in the stark beauty of the desert landscape. Special double-layered pickup around the neckline for the #tamarisksweater by @veta_velveta

I love learning new techniques, even with my extensive knitting experience. The double collar on the Tamarisksweater involves using two different needles plus a crochet hook to cast on the stitches. It is a superbly explained pattern that I have the honor to testknitting and it will be released soon.
