Diesmal keine Socken für mich, sondern für meine Freundin Kirsten @pomponettes8.

Wir kennen uns schon seit unserer Schulzeit und sind seitdem befreundet. Haben die gleichen Interessen und immer Gesprächsstoff.

Sie strickt viel und sehr gut, aber niiiie Socken. Damit sie keine kalten Füße bekommt, bekommt sie nun ein Paar von mir.

Ein Hoch auf Freunde im Leben, die das Leben fröhlich und schön machen.

This post is both a little appreciation post and a dose of colour inspiration ✨

My wonderful test knitters have done such an amazing job with the Obscura Sweater — and I absolutely love that they each chose their own colours and made the design their own.

The result is the most beautiful palette of colour combinations, each with its own unique expression. I can’t wait for you to see them all ➡️

A huge thank you to my lovely test knitters for all your time, care and hard work. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you 🥰

Schon länger hat der Cardigan auf seine Knopflöcher und Knöpfe gewartet, es war gar nicht so einfach, farblich passende Knöpfe zu finden.
Aber heute, am #lazyknittingfriday von der lieben @die_kerstin_strickt ist er endlich tragebereit.

Das Garn #kaosorganicbrushedalpaca hab ich letztes Jahr bei @der_strickladen gekauft, als ich mit Kirsten @pomponettes8 und vielen anderen Frauen dort einen gemütlichen Stricknachmittag besucht habe. Ist die Farbe nicht der Knaller? 💙💙
Das Foto gibt den Cardigan farbgetreu wieder.

im letzten Jahr angeschlagen im Rahmen des #spotregularkal - den ich zusammen mit der lieben Kirsten @pomponettes8 organisiert habe.
Nun soll es endlich weitergehen - mit dem Sweater und auch gerne im Kal.
Wer sich motiviert fühlt, an seinem Spotregular weiterzustricken oder neu zu beginnen, kann sich gerne melden, zusammen ist es doch viel schöner.

Meine Mohairversion hab ich ja letzten Herbst schon vollendet und jetzt kommt die leichtere Frühlingsversion an die Reihe.

Beim #strickenundfrühstücken mit der lieben @modische_maschen_milla stricke ich die immer länger werdenden Raglanreihen und bin froh, wenn ich diese geschafft habe.

Die Garnkombi aus #holsttiticaca und 2mal #holstcoast @holstgarn ist einfach traumhaft.

Meldet euch gerne bei mir, wenn ihr noch im Kal mitstricken möchtet.

O H N O!

This sweater is testing me.
First the ill fitting neck and now my own failure 🫣

I tackled the neckline (more on this later) and finished the body and the first sleeve. Only to realize, I completely forgot about making decreases 😬😱

So off to frog city and a little more time spend on sleeve island. This sweater better be one of my all time favorites once it’s finished or else… 🤣

skalø sweater 🐚 🌊 🤍

a very special co-design with @aalloillaknit is finally ready to be shared with the world and we’re so happy for it 🥹 thanks to our amazing testers, I truly feel that this sweater will warm you as much as it warms us.

a lovely mix of honeycomb cables and subtle colorwork symbolize mine and Reetta’s time together on my small island here in Denmark. the design was brewing for a while and came to life over the last few months. thanks to @filcolana who sponsored their gorgeous Peruvian for the design and testers - the natural buttery wool is ideal for this piece in my opinion 🙏

L O O K W H O' S B A C K

It’s the end of January and some of the other knitters of last year’s knitalong wanted to continue in January - so I think I’m right in time to resume working on my Spot Regular 😅

The colors filled me with joy right away, though the thought of reworking the neckline still doesn’t 😬 Maybe I’ll find the courage to tackle this beast this weekend or maybe not - we‘ll see 🤷🏼‍♀️

Endspurt 🩷🩷 Am #lazyknittingfriday von der lieben @die_kerstin_strickt hüpft mir mein #spotregular von @anneventzel von der Nadel und ich möchte euch zeigen, wie man mit "combined knitting" in Runden die verschränkten Maschen viel einfacher stricken kann.

Die letzten Reihen haben konnte ich so im Flow stricken, dass ich direkt einen #spotcowl angeschlagen habe. Die Auswahl der Farben macht so viel Spaß.

Für den #spotregularkal den ich zusammen mit der lieben Kirsten @pomponettes8 organisiert habe, liegt hier noch ein Spotregular in Garn von @holstgarn ,
Im nächsten Jahr geht es dann weiter in dem Kal.

Final sprint 🩷🩷 On #lazyknittingfriday hosted by the lovely @die_kerstin_strickt, my #spotregular by @anneventzel is jumping off the needles, and I want to show you how "combined knitting" makes knitting twisted stitches in the round much easier.

I was able to knit the last few rows in such a flow that I immediately cast on for a #spotcowl. Choosing the colors is so much fun.

For the #spotregularkal that I organized together with the lovely Kirsten @pomponettes8, I also have a Spotregular in yarn from @holstgarn.

The kal will continue next year.

Auch, wenn ich den #spotregular von @anneventzel nicht neu angeschlagen habe, fühlt es sich heute wie ein #sonntagsanstrick von @ulrikejj.strickt an..... bis man erstmal wieder in die Notizen eingestiegen ist.

Mal sehen, ob auch im #spotregularkal weitergestrickt wird,.den ich zusammen mit der lieben Kirsten @pomponettes8
im letzten Winter ins Leben gerufen habe.

Beim #strickenundfrühstücken mit der lieben @modische_maschen_milla geht es nun am Body weiter. Ich möchte schließlich den Sweater im kommenden Winter auch tragen.

M O T I V A T I O N

Our big Summer knitalong is officially over. And even though we are still working on some of our summer knits (I probably will until spring 😅), I need to face the harsh reality: Fall is here.

I know, you all love this season, but I just love the warmth so much more 😅 And with fall’s arrival, I have to find motivation to resume working on my Spot Sweater Regular again. I knitted this during a Knitalong organizing by dear @tinassparkle1895 and @pomponettes8 and since quite a few of us still have to finish their projects, we decided to continue together in the fall.

So here we are. Fall is here. But my motivation is nowhere to be found 🫣🤣
