It’s never too late to plant a tree and play your part in saving the world.

To celebrate my birthday, I planted a tree a small act with a big hope for a greener future.

I dedicate this tree to all #aprilborns. May it stand as a reminder that each of us can make a difference, one tree at a time.

Welcome to Senegal 🇸🇳 ! by @poshlife_11

I was honoured to join fellow climate advocates and practitioners at the Africa Climate Dialogue 2026, held at the Ghana College of Physicians on 14 October 2026, for an engaging panel discussion on “Youth as Drivers of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Innovation, Community Action, Green Jobs, and Climate Entrepreneurship.”

As the Founder of @dreamhuntgh and National Coordinator of @350_ghana, I shared perspectives on the vital role young people and women play in advancing nature-based climate action and building a sustainable future for Africa.

My key message is clear: young people and women must be more than participants in climate action; they must be innovators, decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Through initiatives such as school environmental clubs, climate education, sustainable school gardens, renewable energy solutions, and community-led environmental campaigns, we can turn local knowledge and creativity into practical solutions that build climate resilience and create green livelihood opportunities.

However, scaling Nature-based
Africa’s young people are not simply the leaders of tomorrow. We are already leading climate solutions today. With the right support, Nature-based Solutions can strengthen our ecosystems, create decent green jobs, improve livelihoods, and accelerate a just and inclusive transition across the continent.

My sincere appreciation to the organizers @ameyaw__ and fellow panellists, @sandrapaye of AFRYWOCC and @BismarkOppong of @greenstorationghana Ghana, for the insightful exchange and shared commitment to climate action. Our moderator @Emmaryn of @the_climate_sociologist

Let us continue turning ideas into action, community knowledge into innovation, and climate ambition into opportunities for all.

Nature is our solution. Communities are our strength. Youth and women are our changemakers.

Celebrating Environmental Leadership and Impact at ATTC!

It was inspiring to see the outgoing President of Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC) sharing the remarkable experience and impact of the Dream Hunt Environmental Club under the Environmental Care Project. richard

The journey has demonstrated the power of student leadership, environmental education, and collective action in building a generation of environmentally conscious young leaders.

Through the Environmental Care Project, students have gained practical experience in environmental protection, sustainable waste management, water conservation, and climate action. These initiatives remind us that when young people are empowered with knowledge and opportunities, they become powerful agents of change in their schools and communities.

As we celebrate the outgoing President’s leadership and contribution, we are reminded that true leadership is measured not only by what we achieve today but also by the positive impact we leave behind.

At Dream Hunt Ghana, we remain committed to empowering students to become environmental advocates and creating opportunities for them to turn their dreams into reality.

Together, we are nurturing a generation that will lead the way towards a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Ghana.

I am delighted to share that I will be speaking at the Africa Climate Dialogue 2026, a high-level platform bringing together policymakers, development partners, diplomats, private sector leaders, researchers, civil society, youth, and climate practitioners to advance climate action across Africa.

As we face growing climate challenges, we must strengthen our commitment to Nature-based Solutions (NbS), climate resilience, green growth, and a just transition that puts communities, women, and young people at the centre of decision-making.

Through my work in grassroots climate advocacy and people-centred energy transition, I remain committed to championing inclusive climate solutions that respond to local realities, empower communities, and create opportunities for a sustainable and equitable future.

Africa’s climate challenges are growing. So must our ambition to respond.

Join us for the Africa Climate Dialogue 2026, a high-level platform bringing together policymakers, development partners, diplomats, private sector leaders, researchers, civil society, youth and climate practitioners to explore how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can drive climate resilience, green growth and a just transition across Africa.

Watch how @350_ghana is advancing decentralised renewable energy and digital inclusion in Jonakrom, Ashanti Region, through a Solar Digital Kiosk.

More than a source of electricity, the kiosk is designed to serve as a community hub, expanding opportunities for clean energy access, digital connectivity, learning and sustainable livelihoods.

This is what a just energy transition looks like at the grassroots level: clean energy that empowers people, creates opportunities and strengthens communities.

From Jonakrom, we are demonstrating that a 2 KW renewable energy is not just about electricity; it is about access, dignity, innovation and opportunity.

Solar Digital Kiosk: Powering Communities. Connecting People. Creating Opportunities.

As we approach #COP31, grassroots communities must be at the centre of global climate discussions. Communities need reliable, affordable and accessible clean energy not just promises, but practical solutions that improve lives.

World leaders must listen to communities. It is time to invest in decentralised renewable energy and ensure that no community is left behind!

At #COP31, let grassroots voices be heard: Clean energy access is a right, not a privilege!

Participants of the Global Green Grant, in collaboration with the GAGGA @gagga_alliance, Kario’s Project, came together for a retreat in Karen, Kenya, to explore the power of human connection in embodying learning and strengthening our commitment to collective care.
The retreat provided a meaningful space to deepen our understanding of collective care strategies through lived experiences, shared reflections, and honest conversations. We explored how building trust, fostering genuine human connections, and setting healthy boundaries within our teams can contribute to stronger, healthier, and more sustainable movements.
Collective care is more than a concept; it is a practice. It reminds us that caring for ourselves and one another is essential to sustaining our work, strengthening our relationships, and creating lasting social and environmental change.
As changemakers and advocates, we must remember that the well-being of our movements depends on the well-being of the people who sustain them.
Let us continue to build spaces where care, connection, trust, and mutual support are at the heart of our collective action.
